HOW is RG a fiscal conservative? (Like Bush, right?) He doubled NYC's 300 year old debt in just 8 years. Explain this away. In fact, I'll give you $100 if you can name ONE mayor in US history more fiscally LIBERAL than Rg. EX: he gave himself a 50% pay raise while stiffing cops and firemen and teachers! He gave the useless City Council (his words!) a 75% pay raise! There's no one even in the same ball park as RG for hiking taxes and stealing taxes and wasting taxes. Write me if you're sincere.

No politician in human history was LESS fiscally conservative than RG, on any issue. He ballooned taxes in NYC (I live here), gave record pay raises to himself, Kerik, and all his cronies; paid out over $500million a year just to settle the lawsuits resulting from his crimes; doubled NYC's 300-yearold debt in just 8 years; gave the useless city council 75% pay raises; and increased NYC's insane 33 billion annual budget to 45 billion in just 8 years! Pretty conservative!

Love that!!!!! My husband and I were just talking about South Carolina! When he was down there touring 4 years ago, playing Thurgood Marshall in a play about Brown vs. The Board of Education, there was someone from NC running for congress on the Segrationist ticket!!! (no surprise to you I'm sure, but shocking to this white northerner- me I mean,not my husband obviously)... needless to say.... he ain's so comfortable in good old NC!!!

Considering that Rudy is a strict constructionist, dropped the number of abortions in NYC, believes in banning most partial-birth abortions, believes in parental notificant with judicial by-pass, believes the federal government should not reguate gun ownership, and would use federal power to protect the right to bare arms, I don't think he's so socially liberal as the media makes him out to be, and *nobody* holds a candle to his fiscal conservatism.

rdanneskjold11 Rudy sued gun store owners because he said they sold guns that they knew would make it to NY City. What the hell? that doesn't even sound legal. So much for the southern states votes and other states as well. And Giuliani wants taxpayers to pay for abortions. Giuliani should be running on the democrats side.
