ipi5hl - "anti-war"? - well they didn't hound Saddam Hussein so they didn't ever protest about the wars S.H. waged on the Iraqi people and the neighbouring countries - Iran & Kuwait. Also those protestors supported the terrorist & sectarian war "resistance" to destroy the new Iraq.
"Anti-war" protestors just postpone wars and make them worse when they inevitably have to be fought, so they called themselves "anti-war" but perhaps they were "pro-big-war later, anti-small-war now" protestors.

I believe that Jesus Christ was also hounded by crowds of protestors along the Via Dolorosa as he was forced to carry the cross upon which he was crucified.
It seems in every age there are crowds of fools who hound messiahs.
