I´m glad that I found you on "the tube". This is really something. It´s raw and honest good funky rock n´ roll. I´m a little bit older and a fan of garage music from the 60s. I get the same feeling as I once experienced in the 60s when I first heard an unknown band called THE ZETTLERS. Check up their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Irresistible f.....g good. Maybe something for your repertoire?
The bass player Ed Pearson was my college teacher, great guy and great bass player. In fact the whole band is awesome especially live. Luke is a god on guitar!!
is there any copy of "growing mushrooms" LP left out there where the owner hasn´t been driven to insanity, grand delusions, asking you to sell your family to get a slice of fine crafted rock.
you buy a 2003 AKARMA reissue long oop on ebay for around 50 to 100 australian dollars bout 60 70 usa dollars but its worth it 2 bonus teacks and a poster on 180 gram vinyl.
hey mate....if you didn't know already, you should check out CACTUS, he recorded and toured with them too....it's a crying shame Leafhounds Growers of mushroom didn't get known as much as it should've, management stuffed it up!!! twats!!! it's up there with the best of that time, Deep Purple, Zepp etc etc if you ain't heard the opening track before (freelance fiend) go easy on the volume, that treble booster will take yer head off!!!
Similar to Crossroads but every blues-rock songs are similar to each other in musical structure but not in expression, feeling... Great vocal. I remember you Pete from Ot'n'sweaty album by Cactus.
Is Luke Rayner a shithot guitarist or what!?
