Now how do I set up my camcorder to take the video while using this mic in my computer for the audio? (like I said...I know nothing..) Would really appreciate some advice from anyone.

im using the Audobe A3.0.1. how do you overcome the latency issues? it sounds great, but it definitely seem to have a couple of millisec off.

ok, question, can you hear yourself while recording with this mic?, because i cant. I use audition cs3, i run on vista, but, i cannot hear myself while recording or when recording....can you help or is this normal?

You will need to setup your sound options in control panel, for 'live monitoring' assuming that you're using a Windows machine...?

Try setting up Audition's audio settings also. You will most likely need to dedicate a sound driver for recording (USB Samson) and another for playback (whatever card you have for Windows.

Its delayed because he recorded it into audition and then had to sync it to the video

My Samsung CO3U is superb.

I have a mic which costs 5 times as much, and I prefer and now only use the CO3U.

Works perfectly with Vista.

hey i bought it but the quality is not what i expected so i talked to some people and i was told that i should install the interface software from the samson website. Its the only way to improve its quality cause its a USB mic, you can´t plug any pre-amp to it. Have you heard about any of this? thank you

In the reviews I read, it was said otherwise, not to install the software that came with it. So I did not install. Using the built in Vista thing.

oh and you only hear the pop on his becouse he does not have the pop filter setup. but his voice does sound kinda soft. but i dont think thats a problom to tweak with vista.

yea im currently buying the samson co3u with the desktop stand & pop filter for 186$ in canada that is. but my frined wus saying the co1u is better then co3u becouse he said the co3u is softer. but i will jus have to find out and tell you wut i honeslty think about this mic. i will be getting it december 15th to nearly december 25th.

you should buy the Co3U! i got it. i just realized by this vid what the different buttons are for so now i understand the whole concept of the Mic! but its great. it got this Studio sound you hear on from the big radio companies etc and its a 5/5 for me!

Vocals would be good and in able for you to scream to the mic, you definitely need a pop filter.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate and it works just fine. I've read advises that it is best not to install the software that comes with it so I took the advise. The mic is plug and play all the way.

With a pop filter, I reckon that this mic will do the job. I used it for a radio commercial and the results were satisfactory.

I used Adobe 3.0. It is intimidating to use at the beginning but when you find what you're looking for, using it is always a breeze. As for the acapella, I will bet every dollar that this will work great. You will need a pop filter when recording your voice to cut the sound pressure from your mouth hitting the mic.
