I noticed a lot in the background of the video, Johns collection of Sega Master System Games. Im interested to know if there all just NTSC releases. Or has he got some of the games that where only released in Europe. Of which there are lot of given the popularity of the system over here.

I mostly collect for US. I have a US NTSC collection minus the Sonic UPC label. I also have some UK games here and there but mostly have US SMS games. The reason why is that I collect for NTSC is that I can find SMS games here in person vs. ebay.

Thought that would be the case. So many BIN men on ebay plus all that international shipping to i imagine. I did however a few months ago snag an all be incomplete copy of the UK release of Buggy Run, for in your money about $1.50.

@ScotlandForever1986 - We actually recorded some Master System footage, and John says he has a complete US Collection minus the PAL UPC label variant. I guess those few SMS games are around $1,000

@MetalJesusRocks Sonic 1 with US UPC label is valued at $1000. The problem is the sticker is so easily copied. And a label can also be taken from another late US release, to try and pass it off as legit. Though most savy collectors know each UPC code.

That's why most collectors just import the European release. As all the US release is just a European release plus a sticker. Any where you go in Europe your falling over Sonic 1's, there's that many lol.

You should import one.

The Simpson's Arcade is my FAVORITE arcade game :) I used to play through the game with my sister at the laundry mat next to my mom's work all the time. Galaga is up there as one of my favorites as well.

Great way to end the three-part series, man! I REALLY enjoyed watching these :)

Awesome 3 part series Metal! Thanks for giving us old gamers a smile as each episode brings back some good memories of the past. I am so jealous of that arcade you were in. I was a arcade addict spending most of the 80s in one. People make laugh at me, but they dont know how great arcades were in their hayday. Unlike the internet, players faced off in person and if ya wanted to mock someone, ya had to do it to their face. Also, ill be ordering thoses dvds, he has a amazing collection.
