Why if McCain was captured during a napalm raid on a civilian village,and subsequently shot down and injured his shoulders and arms when he failed to pull his arms in close to his body after his pulled his ejection lever and why was he offered smokes and an early release after fully co-operating with his captures and signing documents admitting to war crimes against innocent civilians?

He also successfully blocked all access to his POW records.
