Gday mate, how hard was it to get it engineered? I'm doing the same into a FJ62.

Boy, thats a *bit* of a mindblower there, mate! Clearly its a ratrod because of its extensive custom one-off mods following a basic mechanical update lowrider-hotrod performance aesthetic. It's a very risque vision that goes against the grain, over and over, sure to rub conventional-thinkers the wrong way, ie. dropped & chopped-top 'jeep', pimp wheels, loooong-bed, twin 'naked' airfilters. I commend you for even TRYING to do an FJ hot-rod!

Does the FJ45 have a removeable hard top, like the Fj40? I'll bet that thing looks cool with the chopped windshield

hey mate, nice original and unique rod you got there. considering a similar project myself, wondering what kind of chassis your using? i have an old hq ute chassis, i'm thinking this would make the lowering a little easier...

What's under the front end ? Is it a straight axle, FJ diff , Mustang 2 ???

i have an fj40. i just like the stock rims, tires and beds. likin the v8 though

OMG I love the mods!!! I've just come back from SummerNats 24, and after being introduced to the Rat Rod scene, and am keen to do something similar to my 45. The main mods that I'd like to replicate are the chopped roof and lowered suspension. Are these difficult to do?

alloy ones would be sick as but i got to rebuild my motor and shit first now she had a hard time over the last weekend plus my transfer is playing up only selects 4wd when it feels like it :(

nice truck mate one thing tho i reckin you should do is shorten the tray flush with the rear of the chassis would look even sicker

can make you some snorkels if you like em these are 3 inch exhaust can also do in stainless or aluminium
