I hate Sean Ryder but he is a genious! The music that the Mondays and Black Grape created at his hand are so undervalued and are equal to anything the Beatles, Joy Division or The Smiths produced...The late great Anthony Wilson felt the same...what do you North West Englanders recon?
@handsomedevil98 Stone Roses aren't under-rated. All sorts of musos lick their boots. Trouble with Happy Mondays is their various shenanigans overshadowed the music. They were easily better than that mop-haired bunch of Sixties romantics. Roses paved the way for the tide of strummy-guitared indie dross that typified Manchester music in the 90s.
@pfishy69 everyone who worked with ryder seemed to hate him but as you say, recognised his genius. i'm presuming you never had to work with him so why hate him? morrisey is nothing on shaun, he was just full of drivel that no one cared about nor really understood.
