Hey mate AWESOME comversion there with the H6! I'm thinking about doing this to my GC8 that's currently supercharged - Imagine the power of a supercharged H6! Is this the EZ30 with AVCS? I'm in Mackay and can get the H6 from Brissy, just looking at what others have done :D
@weathermon I really wanted to supercharge my H6 back when i had it. I think the best way would be to relocated the alternator and use a custom intake plenum with the supercharger mounted under the intake on top of the motor, blowing up into the manifold. I do think that turbocharging would be easier though, considering you will already have aftermarket management, assuming you're running the EZ30r like my one (with AVCS and AVLS... basically VVT and VTEC)
@Blaeven Nice one - I know that Raptor Superchargers have had success just within the past month of supercharging th H6 and the kit bolts on within a few hours, it's crazy! They've reported 230kw just on 5psi so already early in the game they are showing strong results. Go to forum.liberty.asn.au and do a search for the thread called RAPTOR SUPERCHARGER FOR LIB 3.0. I did have a look into turbocharging the H6 and the amount of work involved to redo the exhaust and all would be crazy :D
You cound supercharge it but would the transmission hold?
