that's a good and very useful technique indeed but it just takes the fun out of it of not using your weapons, but I highly agree with your strategy though.

you can only use or activate the godly possessions on the difficulty that you have beaten before...

and it is different for GOW3 as compared to 1 and 2 because they are considered as 'cheats', so the trophies are disabled once godly possessions are enabled...

You need to have beat the game on that difficulty already to use them I believe.

if u collect godly possesions on normal, then you can only use them on normal or on easy. So you just got to finish chaos to use them on chaos XD
