I think thyagaraja aradhane is the world's largest orchestrated performance. I dont think such huge vocal symphony exists anywhere else.

Does someone know of any other big community singing events in other parts of the world?

this is a classic example of co-ordination among a thousand voices in the same sruthi....this was followed by 2007....apparently not so much of a co-ordinated effort.......however one can imagine how big it would be in Thiruvaiaru........thanx for posting!!
