  • You're great with this tune so I would suggest Emily's Reel as a new tune. Please listen to the Denison Bluegrass version of it as it is a very pure version.

  • wow incredibly clean version, ya looked pretty while ya did it too! :D *ahem oh sorry..

  • @banjoman1437 Lol thank you :)

  • @ashhsa13 WELCOME :D

  • Very nice, Ash.

  • I disagree with the 'buy a cheap fiddle' comment. If it's too cheap it won't stay in tune and that is one of the most frustrating things when starting out.

  • @pnj4130 Yes I agree with that as well. I remember my first fiddle and it was frusturating to keep in to tune and I never played it too much cause I hated the sound... then I got my good one Im playing now and I love it! So yes that is another thing to consider

  • You play really well. Come to Nashville and hang out at the Station Inn on Sundays...they have a bluegrass jam.

  • Very nice, good job...........

  • Excellent fiddling. Thanks.

  • Ashley, another fantastic job. You play quite a diversity of tunes. I left a note on one of your other tunes where you were playing a scottishe or hornpipe. Can you check out my question? Great job here on a favorite tune of mine...reminds me of the Kenny Baker version.

  • great job. I am learning to fiddle and you and so many others have it down soooo good...

  • Super job. You've got that traditional lonesome fiddle sound. Thanks.

  • this is amazing, because of this I actually wanna take up the violin/fiddle; for a beginner what instrument do you recommend? And is their a way you can play the whole song? and I agree with LincGD more songs with a river feel to it! :]

btw I saw your other videos you got alot of talent!

  • @DoodleMonster If your thinking of playing just buy a cheap one at a music store.. any make.. and just try it for a while to see if you enjoy it and want to keep it up.. play for at least a year before you buy another one but make sure that ones a good one..if you have a teacher they will help you buy one or look out for one

  • I'm an adult beginning fiddle player (3 years now) and this is one of my favorites...you played it very well! I'm going to try learning this one next. What kind of fiddle do you play?

  • @123daboyz i play a french fiddle called a Simon Joxsef... it was made in 2003 which is really new but mine has a good sound and it is a copy of a stradivarious

  • Love that sound would ya be able to play anything with a river feel to it? and the other question is could I use it in a rafting vid?

  • @LincGD You can use this in a video, and i'll try and find a song with a river feel to it and i'll post it and see if you like it soon! :)

  • @ashhsa13 Thanks very much looking foward to it. cheers Linc

  • wow ur really good
