So cool to see Rod (the last Tasmanian) in action - I can still recall the night he went off to do the big trek as I was keen to go, but alas, being an annoying little grommet I was excluded as usual.
this is the way we used to do it the 70's pre the commercial Bridge climb. Sydney harbour bridge for free in a 3 hour round trip.
it was illegal but very cool. rumour had it some mountain climber paved the route and several generations of kids carved it up till the climb was taken over by commercial operators. ah the good old days...
