and if that doesnt work, call a plumber. because if you go out and but the auger and it doesnt work coz there is roots in line further down than the auger can reach your outta pocket even more than if you just called a plumber in the first place.... small tip use a old style mop as a plunger

After this and ramonasplumbers' videoes, I went out to my local hardware store and bought the $10 auger. (That store did not have a Rigid of any size.) Long story short, ended up breaking the darn thing and being very frustrated. Forgot there was a Ace Hardware store nearby so went there next and got the 6' Rigid. They didn't have the 3'. Ended up getting the clog out in 5-8 minutes. DO NOT BUY THE CHEAP ONE!! BUY THE RIGGID. You will save aggravation! THANK YOU!!

I went to Lowe's looking to buy an inexpensive toilet augur. The only one they had was more than 27 dollars and it's crap compared to the one shown here. Feel like I overpaid, but had no choice. At least it worked.

I purchased the most economical plumber's auger from Home Depot. It was about 7 or 8 dollars. Thanks to viewing your video, I was able to unclog the toilet. I never thought the sound of a flush could sound so beautiful!

Disabled plumber here, unable to return to work. This brand RIDGED aka orange joy is the way to go. Excellent video. I have had to pull the toilet and auger it from the base to remove a lid, toys, and etc. Refer to videos on how to remove a toilet and do the steps in reverse to PUSH the solid object out. IF YOU ARE NOT MECHANICALLY INCLINED SPEND THE MONEY NOW, RATHER THEN ON WATER DAMAGE.
