They make it look so simple and reliable in the video. Too bad I've run into so many bad SC Opticam connectors right out of the box. I've experienced around 4 - 5% average failure, almost always because of not enough matching gel. Nothing like inserting the fiber, camming the connector and there being a nice bright red glow in 1or 2 spots, or a nice dull red glow across entire indicatorr, no matter how many times you tried re-terminating it.
