  • @TaldarinGreen Akira Yamaoka - Silent Hill 4 The RoomMelancholy

  • @3DNeksus lol can't believe i finished the game and i don't remember it ....thanks alot m8 :D

  • nice!!could notice a constant grwoth in ur work which is good.would suggest short listing & putting only ur favorite ones with lots of close ups

  • Damn dude olena gave me a boner XD

  • You are an amazing artist and a real inspiration. It comes as a complete surprise that You learned these all by yourself. I expected that You studied at one of the best Unis to get here.

  • Wicked mate. Its good to have a "positively" dirty mind lol, judging by a couple of those female models! How long did u work on them?

  • what program do you use?

  • very sexy female bodies

  • Wow freat models

  • great models but that animation is terrible lol

  • What's used more in the gaming industry; Maya or 3DS Max? Also, which one is easier and better?

  • @d1v4dPwnz Illusion Mage

  • That was surely one of the most amazing dragons I've ever seen.

  • WOW, the one with Pan and the Dryad is amazing can u do more greek mythology like of.... Eris and Hestia

  • hey did this ever work out for you, like did you find a job?

  • looks good.

the lava dragon reminds me of Deathwing from WoW.

ps: it would be best to remove the dragon animation from the ending, looks very bad :(

  • What modelling software do you use?

  • Your WitchBlade girl would make a great srceen saver. Excellect work, keep going.

  • Loved "Witchblade"!

  • Everything was wonderful :3

Except the animation on that dragon at the end, it was a disappointing finish to your superb talent.

What school did you go to to learn this? Any suggestions?

  • @DrawWithLaura Thanks!

Jep it was my first animation --so it was just for fun.

I am mainly self-taught but I have BA degree in interactive design. My advice would be just study traditional drawing and painting at any Art school.

Then all this stuff can be learned from books and tutorials.

  • @3DNeksus Ugh but how does someone get THIS good at 3d modelling from books and tutorials? DX

I'm attending the Art Institute for 3d modelling right now. I'm learning so fast, but yet so slow...

    We're using Maya.

I can see you use Zbrush though... do you ONLY use Zbrush?

Also I'm curious... what are the main tutorials/books you've referred too?

  • @3DNeksus Hey i agree with drawwithlaura your animation of the dragon is a little fidgety it would have worked very well if you left him on the rock just moving a little bit and snarling - your modeling rocks don't let it fall down fro the dragon animation.

  • @DrawWithLaura

Yes, I agree with DrawWithLaura, edit out the last animation and your reel will be top notch.

    Only show your best stuff!

ALWAYS refrain to include things that isn't up to the same standards as the rest, even if you yourself might like what you have accomplished with your newfound skills =)

If you feel animation/rendering/compositing are exciting new skills that you enjoy learning, keep those to a separate reel.

You really only want to show your professional modeling skills here!

  • Really good job man! I am currently studying in video games and your works are quite motivating me right now! :P

  • cool work!! you're going places!!

  • Too GooD..............!!

  • Hope you get that job awesome work

  • Yeah loving the naughty stuff ;)

  • great work man! All I would say is to take out the animation at the end, it kinda hurts your reel. Since its a modeling showreel you don't really need it. You're a great modeler but not a great animator (yet?) so I say keep it classy and just take that last part out.

    cheers

  • Id like to see more close up renders and some completed compositions with your models in them. The logo behind your turnarounds is a bit distracting at times but your models are very nice. I especially liked your exploded view of the muscle structure. That must have taken some time.

  • Awesome modelling skills there.

  • it's really awesome. gr8 wrk kp it up.

  • your work is nice but the presentation of your work is not gud enough as it can be...:)

  • wkd reel, how long have you been working on it?

  • @jasonmi1 about one week

  • @3DNeksus is this for one character? how long did it take to do the human anatomy one

  • @3frc4rfcv4grvefverfv No no,one week only for creating demo reel--like gathering materials, rendering some turntables and making final montage...

Male Human Anatomy took about 3 months to complete, because there every muscle and bone is separated and sculpted individually, aslo there was a lot of studying from anatomy books and reference images.

  • Amazing reel, you're characters look amazing.

Also great choice of music ;)

  • awesome works.congrats.

  • The anatomy study is awesome

  • Nice "yellow duck" at the end. This creates the reaction that, "Everything was great except for the animation at the end". Thereby forcing the viewer to acknowledge that "Everything was great....",

  • That looks amazing. Congrats. The animation on the end is interesting but it looks a bit off as it isn't entirely polished. Otherwise great job on the modelling/sculpting side of things.

  • Ну ты крут!
