His poem is definitely entertaining, but I can't help feel that he is creating a divide, rather than making a statement - there is no need for light, caramel - looking or coco skin complexion. Division is completely unnecessary Unity should stand.

Lastly, I've come to notice that many Black/Afro - Caribbean are technical in the UK we use the term mixed - race more often, e.g. to be technical Mr Barack Obama is mixed - race. He may not be the 1st black prez, but he is the 1st non- white prez.

@djkevintheymvp its b/c of tv and how much more appealing the light skinned people are made to appear vs the dark skinned. Everything "close to white is right" in the minds of SOME but I've noticed its now not only about being light skinned but also its about having white characteristics both physically and mentally. Perms, weaves to get straight hair. Even rappers who represent black people are trying to talk preppy (white) just listen to guys like big sean. Used to be whites copying blacks but
