yfz 450 quads are totaly reliable. I race a 06 yfz and it is a awsome quad.

Hey, i am considering getting a YFZ 450 but i hear there not reliable at all. Is that true? i know about the valves having to be adjusted but is the rest of the engine reliable. any help wound be great. also nice vid. PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, but i do not have a yfz... yet.. I have a yamaha raptor 250. it is the most reliable bike that i have ever had. It can take alot of hard beatings and still perform great.. When i rode the yfz in the video, it handled like a dream. hope this helped you out

if ur looking 4 reliability, a 450r is ur best option. the only thing u hav 2 do is get the valves checked every 20 hours. honda are the most reliable quads out there and thats comin from a suzuki fan lol

@njquadracer11 The R has a reliable motor due to the SOHC system. It's damn reliable but some say it revs slower..

uh, no theres nothing special... just before the jump, i stand up, kinda lean back and when i hit the jump, keep it steady and sometimes hit the gas so it does not start to lean forward while in the air.

There are 2 tracks now in NJ Atco and Englishtown ther are gonna be 4 new ones though 1 in the north 1 in central and 2 in Millville

ya i heard about them and with englishtown, i believe that there like only open acouple times a year...and atco is only open on fridays until the summer then there open tuesdays and fridays

well this track was in chatsworth in the pine barrens before it got shut down... now the only place to ride in nj that i know of is atco raceway which is only open on friday nights... weather permitting

You are better at the 250 but the 450's are so nice. If you rode one more you'd be really good. I love both bikes.

i was switching between 3rd and 4th if i remeber right, haven't been on that track in awhile cuz it got shut down...

that sucks id so travel from west coast to go there all we have to brag about are the dunes but they are down in oregon which is like 6 hrs away. 4th or 5th sounded good to me but i wasnt sure. ive only been to this gravel pit. good whoops but the only jump there you had to hydroplane over a lake and hit it out of the water onto land. it was so hard you bogged down before you got there and didnt get any air. you do anything to your raptor lately?

umm.. im more confident on the 250 because i have riden it longer but i love the 450 because of the speed that it has and it handled the jumps very well and better than the 250 could so i would choose the 450
