- actually in a vacuum there is nothing to stop the flag from moving... it just keeps going.... it's not wind, it's the fact that he moved it and it doesn't stop moving as there is no friction in the 'lack of air' to stop it.

Stars will not be visible on the Moon with the sun shining. Can you see stars on the Earth when the sun shines? The light from the sun is much more bright than the stars light. The only time you may be able to see stars on the Moon is during a lunar eclipse.
