  • Just like Jurasic park music this music is awsome !! thank you john williams for this wonderfull music

  • generel grievous and darth sidous liked this

  • Best character in Star Wars!

  • @Zanator1 the only that can fight 10 jedi without using the Force and win xD

  • @NachoSlayer Only sheer greatness and glory, power and intelligence!

  • @4:04 epic moment

  • 0:00 - 8:33 is epic. Also Obi-Wan and Anakin disliked this video. Another one of the most epic Grievous videos I've seen.

"I AM THE LEADER OF THE MOST POWERFUL DROID ARMY THE GALAXY HAS EVER SEEN!"

  • 6:30 is when the fun begins...

  • i agree with u "imMalevolence"

  • I don't understand why George Lucas accepted the Clone Wars series (the one that was CGI) as canon when it made one of the coolest characters with the most potential to be a great villain into a total bitch. The plight of Grievous. I remember when people first heard about him and saw what he looked like, as well as when he freakin MURDERED like 18 Jedi in the animated series, he got mad respect. Then the Clone Wars came in and raped his fan-base.

  • @MrKerosene17 He was always meant to be a cowardly weakling, as seen in Episode 3. As much as I like Clone Wars, they exaggerated the Jedi too much to the point that its unbelievable. How could the Jedi get killed by Clones when they can Force Push and create a tornado. Mace Windu and Yoda were so overpowered that I was actually shaking my head when I watched the show.

  • 2 people were blasted in the heart by Obi-wan Kenobi.

  • 0:50 What song is that?!

  • @TheWelshComic It's part of the Revenge of the Sith Intro melody. It comes in a little past halfway through, in the middle of all that jumble that you heard after those first 2 coherent themes.

  • This music is so inspirational , I now want to lead a vast army of droids through different star systems and we'll play this as we take the whole galaxy by force.

  • @Metzen09 you sith, due to you now I wanna play KOTOR on dark side :D

  • why does this remind me of Harry Potter?

  • @CpAndPokemonManiac98 Maybe cause your a fucking retard?

  • @CpAndPokemonManiac98 Because John Williams composed the soundtracks of both Star Wars and Harry Potter dont worry your not a fucking retaard its just that many people dont know that.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi disliked this video!

  • Ki Adi Mundi's padawan could have taken Grievous if he hadn't of panicked.

  • @GorterPoss u mean shaggy?

  • @lordmaul3355 Yeah, hehe, him. Come on he was aweosome.

  • You lose General Kenobi!

  • Thumbs up if you can't see the dislikes! :D!

  • Clone wars:A cunning mastermind strategist, the greatest fighter in his entire army, an unstopable persuer, a cruel assassin.

The clone wars: An incompetent snivelling baffoon, who always fails and cowars back with his tail between his legs.

  • grievous has the best story than any other star wars character

  • What songs did you use?

  • One person is an Obi Wan Kenobi fan.

  • o:58 is the best part

  • Your sacrifice will be revered evermore, and your efforts to ameliorate the cause of our race will never be disregarded. The life you have lived will be a undying reminder, unbroken and immaculate. Our dead have not given their lives in vain; the fires to claim their bodies were not lit without the greatest esteem. Over these lands the blood of our war-brothers' flowed, and it is the same with you now. May the hereafter honor you in the way your decent will. Rest well General Sheelal.

  • @Doomtrooper175 A wonderful lament for the Great Qymaen jal Sheelal.

  • Ahh! the first song fits Greivous so well, coolest villian song ever!

  • Epic marching music

  • During the first half of the war, the CIS had the upper hand, conquering world after world, system after system. But then the Republic went on the offensive, taking back all the systems. The Confederacy then launched the Outer Rim Sieges to distract the Jedi while Grievous attacked Coruscant. But there was a portion of the war when the Republic and CIS had a string of stalemates. In the end, both lost.

  • I like to cough when i hear this :/ lolololol

  • If you keep replaying it at 7:41 it sounds kind of like a rap beat

  • @knoencowo 7:40 actually

  • @knoencowo

    lul

  • @Jacarter99 someone should use that lol

  • Grievous is a great villain, it's a shame that so very few versions of him have been truly badass!

  • one person that doesn't like this song, I think you're all with me when I say "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?!?!"

  • 0:00-0:50 Best!

  • love it just love it

  • FUCKIN CHILLS

  • FINE EDITION TO MY COLLECTION!!!!

  • @gregtestagent adition

  • @Zanator1 it may or may not be arbitrary to use either one, but at least spell this one correctly.

  • @gregtestagent touche

  • 6:43 Best PART!

  • On wookieepedia there is a nice article about all Clone wars battles and both sides had many victories and defeats

  • love the song

  • Anyone know the name of the track that starts at 52 seconds?

  • @handeisthemande12

It's from track 1 of the Revenge of the Sith Album - the track is called "Star Wars and Revenge of the Sith". It starts at about 04:45 on the track from the album.

  • could someone write names of the songs? they are truly epic.

  • @MegaSranje

*Using all the official track names on the RotS Soundtrack

    0:01 - 0:49 : "Grievous Speaks to Lord Sidious"

0:50 - 1:22 : "Star Wars and the Revenge of the Sith" (around the actual track's 4:46 mark)

    1:23 - 4:31 : "Grievous and the Droids"

    4:32 - 8:33 : "General Grievous"

  • Love it!!! One of my favourite pieces from the films.

  • Why aren't they using this epicness for Grievous in the Clone Wars show?!

  • Comment removed

  • you're damn good at mixing. If I didn't already have all the themes from star wars memorized, I would never have been able to tell where the seams were.

  • What the hell is this music????! Force unleashed raxus prime :) (it was a joke this music is wonderfuul ;)

  • i love 2:37 to 3:00

  • excellent sound quality excellent well done and john williams well brilliant lol

  • grievous has one of the best themes.

  • General Grievous is the best sith besides Darth Vader

  • @MegaStarwarsfan01

He wasn't a sith lord though. He was an apprentice in swordsmanship to Count Dooku and the leader of the Droid Army.

  • @MegaStarwarsfan01 even though he wasn't a sith I agree. Darth maul's badass too.

  • @MegaStarwarsfan01 Hes not a sith.

  • whats the one on 0:51?

  • @PizzaPayYan101 It Playys when the audience first glimpses Greivous on his Flagship in Episode 3

  • who's the idiot who disliked this?

this is one of the best themes before the imperial!

  • LOL while i was wacting this i heard a wierd speeder nosie... REALLY!!! I AM NOT KIDDING! I HAVE NO IDEA WAHT IT WAS.

  • What a wonderfull music!!

  • Whats the title of the songs in the album?

  • I love how bits of the score sound a little like Harry Potter.

  • nice

  • They should of had general grievous in all 3 movies since he has been always cunning enough to slip threw their fingers like it says in starwars wikipedia

  • @GliderGuy88 Technically, he's in episode ii as well, since he was present at the Battle of Geonosis. Grievous killed several jedi in the lower parts of the Geonosian catacombs, but these kills were not attributed to him.

  • bum bum bum bum bssh bum bum bum bum bssh, best part int the song XD

  • I love General Grievous from the old Star Wars Clone Wars Cartoon. He was such a badass! The movie and the new CGI crap they show on Cartoon Network do not show him justice by portraying him as some incompetent fool.

  • I agree completely. The CGI on Cartoon Network shows nothing of how the Clones wars actually occurred. The Clone wars had several glorious defeats for the Republic. If it wasn't for Palpatine's preference for clones, the droids would have won the Clone Wars. It was actually very close, due to the General's leadership.

  • @ImMalevolence i think the clone wars show is fucking amazing but i do wish the republic will just lose some battles

  • @ImMalevolence

your last point is inaccurate. remember, palpatine was controlling both sides. the Republic and the CIS were locked in a stalemate for almost the entire war, on purpose. technically, neither side won ... at more or less the same time, anakin killed the separatist leaders, and palpatine effectively destroyed the republic by disbanding the galactic senate. it may have seemed like one side had an edge over the other at times, but that was never actually the case.

  • @zosovette Yes, Palaptine had complete control over the Republic and the CIS by the end of the war. It was his choice who won and who lost, I personally would have gone with the CIS as they had superior numbers and advances in technology.

  • @TheDOWfan no they didnt.

  • Respond to this video... The CIS had primitive technology to the Republic think about it the cloning of the Republics army was seen as a groundbreaking achievement something the CIS would never be able to do they specialized in out of date mechanics only.

  • @ImMalevolence

The Dark Horse comics were a lot better at portraying the defeats and struggles of the Republic.

  • @ImMalevolence That show sucks not because of Grevious, he was actually made more like the movie. That show sucks because of Ahsoka Tahno who appears out of nowhere and is not mentioned at all in Revenge of the Sith. I also hate their Skyguy and Snips nicknames.

  • @ImMalevolence Yeah and he so unfairly los! No more allies, even the council betrayed him!

  • @mailchibi88 Yea and he only had the cough after the battle of corusant when windu wounded him not the whole time!

  • @mailchibi88

remember the clone wars cartoon was a story fill, so the characters said less, more adult action in it.

the new 3d animation is for children only bringing the next generation into star wars

  • @mailchibi88 i agree in every way

  • @mailchibi88

no shit... in the cartoon he drops jedi like it was nothing

  • @mailchibi88 he's just not incompetent, but he's shallow now. He had a reason to kill Jedi and fight against the Republic, but now it seems the only reason he's doing it is because he wants to rule the galaxy. Or at least rule many worlds. He originally never concoured a planet, only freed them from the Yam'rii, long time enemies of his kind and homeworld. Now he is a slayer of kings, concourer of many worlds and cursed by widows. He is basically a power hungry dictator in that show.

  • @mailchibi88 It's like everything that George Lucas gives to other people to take care of, they turn into these gems, like the video games, the clone wars, the music, the original trilogy (though to be fair it was more of a joint-effort between a more capable George that has long since died)

...but the stuff that Lucas handles directly turn into just a mess.

  • @mailchibi88 Well, Hopefully in Season 4 or 5, The General will have some sort of come back. If not , I'm gonna give Ol' Georgey a call..........

  • @mailchibi88 Indeed - He did get weakend combat wise by Mace Windu crushing his chest though.

  • @Kennyboy0077 that would limit his stamina, not skew his tactical train of thought. If you have four arms, you USE THEM.

  • @Emidretrauqe It weakend his robotic body, the chest part/head part couldn't be repaired, seeing those were vital parts. He was more of a 'coward' out of fear from being weaker I assume, and in the movies and CGI they made him out WAY too weak then he is in reality, read up on his bio.

  • @Kennyboy0077 The thing about the Star Wars prequels that you need to understand is that the books, cartoon spinoffs, video games, graphic novels, etc. are all formed around the movies, which are set in stone. The movies are an incoherent mess, and everything else tries to clean up after that mess as best they can, but there's only so much that they can do without rewriting the terrible script of the films themselves. As much as I hate to admit it, Maul, Dooku, and Grievous are all incompetent.

  • @Emidretrauqe Ah bullcrap. The last bit atleast.

  • @mailchibi88 Wheres that? Star Wars Animated Clone Wars shows him preety cool...

  • @mailchibi88 Amen

  • AWESOME..

  • k chida musica de star wars sube mas

  • "so uncivilized" XD

  • sounds a little like harry potter

  • @ThousanWhite Well duh.... John Williams composed the songs for Harry Potter and Star Wars.

  • witch song has 0:51? i can't find it anywhere

  • Its the music that is played at the begining of Obiwans fight against Grievous, till the clones come and ruin the fun ;(

  • It was also when Grievous first landed on Utapau and walked off his ship and spoke with Sidious via the holo.

  • stupid clones like to ruin stuff and change good music into crazy chase music : (

  • it's in the middle of star wars and the revenge of the sith soundtrack

  • :0 :D :) :O

  • i like the first part of the song up to about

    1:10

  • most imprssive music, some the best i have ever herd in a movie . John William is second to none

epic music for an epic movie

  • Grievous is mutch better then the movie shows him. But hes damaged so.. But still as badass!

  • genral grivous would of killed obi one kenobi if genral grivous dident bring his gun obi one kenobi would be dead i would like obi one to be dead I LOVE THIS SONG

  • @planger100 dude u r so right i get pissed when he does that and when jedi use lousy force powers

Jedi thoughts: oh sh*t i gotta cheat im gonna get owned

jedi scum always being assholes in combat

  • My favorite song this is

  • 0:51 total badass

  • thank tou i've been looking for that part for forever

  • this is IT , this is the one i was looking for. a song that is in lego star wars 1 too

  • thank you, John Williams ^^

  • Why didn't this theme appear in the Clone Wars series, Grevious certainly appeared frequently, at least in the early episodes

  • @dragondisaster For some reason, the new guy they hired for the Clone Wars doesn't want to use John William's music.

    I have no idea why.

  • @Willy105 His music is legendary .........................although i do hate Harry Potter, both the music in that and Star Wars is amazing................though Star Wars is like a million times better music wise

  • generaal grievous was just so badly damaged that he couldnt use the forse it would seem.

and he was simply to arogant as well, he couldve killed obi wan easily if he told the droids to fire .

  • if you think about it he was sort of a prototype for darth vader.

  • exactly. Geoge Lucas said that he wanted a villan to be the forcast of what anakin would become.

    THE MORE YA KNOW :3

  • i love grievous's theme!!!!!

  • his theme is my favorite

  • it is so awesome

  • Thanks for this mix. My favorite scores from the film. 5 stars all day brother.

  • Thanks for commenting! You're welcome anytime!

  • For some reason, General Grievous's leitmotif makes me think of Harry Potter, hahaha.

  • love this song

  • Do You Mind If i Use This Music For My General Greivous Tribute?

  • I don't mind at all.

That is, as long as I'm credited for the compilation.

Don't forget to credit John Williams, of course, too.

  • do you know the real name of this song???

  • Well, it's not really one song. As I explained in the description, it's a compilation. Meaning I got many Grievous themes from many parts of the movie that include Grievous in it, and I put it in a re-edited track.

  • k so the begining part when he comes off the ship in the movie

  • i believe its simply called grievous meets palpatine

  • Totally.

  • not all the song

  • thank you sooooooo much

  • As explained in the video's description, yes, it was edited. But thanks.

And I'm sorry, I should've listed the track names on the description as well to make it easier for you guys.

  • whats the name of that song that comes at 0:51?

  • It's on the very first track of Star Wars Episode III entitled ' Star Wars and the Revenge of the Sith'.

  • in BFII the battle on Utapau is short on campaign (Rise of the Empire): Capture a CP, capture a CP, capture a CP, kill grievous, blow something up.

  • neat in a way.

  • he maried someone after his loved one died and had 30 children. if you don't believe go to google, type in general grievous and go to wookiepedia .(NO NOT WIKIPEDIA, WOOKIEPEDIA!)

  • 10 wives, three kids from each. Grievous was busy.

  • grievous is the best

  • lol vader Breathing xD

and ive been lookin for this song for a long time and now finally i found it xD

    *choir* DESTINY

  • good good

  • Imo he died too easy, and there is a character with more hate - Vader. When was breathing without his armor, and felt positive emotion just for a second he was instantly starting to suffocate. He had to hate everything around to live.

  • Well it is very understandable why he has so much anger, I mean when he was known as the Kaleesh warlord Qymaen jai Sheelal, his soul mate was killed and that is just terrible. Plus all the hate he has for the jedi is understandable considering he thinks it was them who made it so he had to have the body he is in now. Definately the character in star wars with the most hate, but not nearly the one with the most anger. I'm more partial to Sidious myself but overall Greivous is pretty cool too.

  • Very well said, FuryLivesOn.

  • Thank you kindly.

  • Whoever say General Grievous is bad is gay I Mean come one when I first saw him in the Clone wars cartton the episode where the Jedi are on Hypori I was like damn He beat all those Jedi:O

  • I agree.

Grievous is awesome no matter what.

I believe in the Star Wars universe, not the Star Wars movies.

  • General Grievous - most interesting villain ever seen in Star Wars and i like him more than Vader or Joker :D

  • I agree. Vader...I don't know why I don't enjoy him as much as Grievous. I find Grievous more cooler. I hope we see a lot more of him in the Clone Wars than we already do.

  • And hes the most angriest , hes more angry than sidious , vader and dooku combined :D

  • i think that what makes grievous cool is that evan thou he doesn't have a "body" he is still consumed with hate. plus he got four fucking arms, how bad ass is that

  • Vader's awesome breathing just can't compare to the badassness of Grievous's heavy step and smoker's cough.

  • Haha, smoker's cough. xD

But so very true. I can always remember Grievous for that...and the fact that he always points a lot.

  • They had to give him an unspectacular death though
