@styropyro well, lets see, You've been working on lasers since you where 12 right, ok. 7 years, the first laser i had was when i was 5, and i saw a 100W inf-red laser which triggered my laser intrest when i was 6, soooo about 6 years i've been playing around with lasers, i just started D.I.Y. lasers over the last two years. so please don't be mad or some how make me out to be wrong, i hate people like that and I don't expect you too be that kind of person, Thanks!

@Themandudebro227 i didn't doubt how long you have owned a laser, i doubted how long you have worked on them. you said you have been "working on lasers" almost as long as me. as I recall a few months ago you couldn't complete a DIY laser without my help. i do NOT take well to lying to try to get a sale, and any more bullshit like this on my videos will get you on my block list.

@styropyro I wouldn't sell it either! That's just beautiful. You should get a dpss 671nm and make yourself a stunning RGB! Perhaps that blue is a bit too "aqua" for that  but I think RGB's should always share similar profiles along all lines. By the way, if you do per chance want to sell it I can ask my wife if I'd be allowed to buy. :-) Just curious, how much did that beauty set you back? That's a lot of dollar power for a 473.

What's the difference between mW and nm? I'm getting a 30mW green laser what will that be able to do?

@RKRafRaf nm is the color, so a green laser (like the one your getting) 532nm. when the power of the laser is 30mW. it will be able to smoke leather, pop bloons and blind someone in an instant.

@RKRafRaf mw means Miliwatt. mw is how powerful the laser is. nm stands for nanometers a measurement for length. 1 nanometer is 1 billionth the length of a meter. nm's are used to measure the wavelength of the laser. different wavelengths are different sizes so we use nm's to measure them and thats how to determine the color of your laser.

445nm = blue | 532nm = green | 650nm = red | 405nm = violet.

Anything above aprox. 700nm is IR light and anything below aprox. 400nm is ultraviolet light

You could burn some "random" stuff: kinda like a "Is it a good idea to shoot lasers on this?".

I'd suggest a roll of toilet paper, sandpaper, small firecrack, cheap calculator's LCD, solar cell, photoresistor.

It souldn't be very time consuming, and could be fun to do and to watch (:
