Not to argue with The Man Himself, but the logic that Children Are Our Future is bullshit because they'll be adults by then is NOT flawless. The idea is we should take care of our kids so they won't grow into fucked-up adults, and thus gradually creating a less fucked world through the generations.
What's the point on using a video of George Carlins speaking against self esteem to propagandize self esteem stuff? Do you really think that George Carlin fans would buy that shit? This video is great, but the propaganda in it is just useless and counter-productive (not to mention the word that begins with an "s" and ends with a "tupid").
