  • The good old days

  • good:-)

  • sigh.

it saddens me to see how ignorant people are.

you should be ashamed of yourself.

at least they're a people who respect their culture, customs and traditions to this day.

americans on the other hand, wouldn't know what respect is if you slapped them in the face with it.

you guys have NOTHING compared to what they have.

i'm an immigrant and so far what i've seen of your celebrations, they mean absolutely nothing.

    you eat like pigs.

christmas, easter, halloween, for you it's a reason to eat.

  • ur right

  • @daisylici i was shocked at how much a human being eats even a whale eats less lol. the whole damn country looks a like hippo city

  • d'la tribe acoustic....sa tue tout!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • lol i can not believe how rude alot of people are here! This video was posted to share so others like me down here is australia are able to see and enjoy the music, dance and vid. I have alot of respect for african people and i dont look at them as black. Black, white, yellow makes no diff in this post. Thank you uploader for sharing this, African music to me gave a big push to all the music we listen to today. me being a composer I have much respect for your culture and where u came from.

  • we can see you do not want to really learn about this culture. If you cannot respect the footage do not comment. This is old footage which is hard to find. the uploader was grateful to share this with us. So respect please.

  • What do you know about music then? What do you know about History? You think we as humans started off with music sounding so perfect? Everynation and every culture had different methods of music and beat. Yes it is basic but because of 'their' basic music, they then over time adapted it into modern music and all the music we hear today with beat, soul, jazz.. hell EVERYTHING with beat is because of them! Obviously u dont understand that. Music dance started from somewhere. Do ur research mate.

  • lol i could beatbox better than that... i don't care if its culture or whatever your talking about. if it sucks than it just sucks. plain and simple.(btw im to lazy so i didn't read half of you're long ass message) =P

  • @shiryet the music is anything but basic

I can guarantee it would take you a VERY long time to be able to play any ghanese rhythm.

  • Dude no it wouldn't.

Thats the easyest shit to play ever.

So your saying its harder then piano and guitar?

Because i learned both of those.

  • shiryet: you mean "you're" not "your"

  • @Wigothe

    So? is that an insult?

If so, you mean to capitalize my name and also capitalize the first letter of your sentence.

You also mean to use a period at the end of your sentence.

Please try not to fail so hard when correcting someones comment.

  • shiryet: no, it wasn't an insult. i just figured i'd help you out a little. my bad if i offended you. i do find it strange, however, that you're correcting me when previous comments of yours have incorrect punctuation but it's whatever...no biggie! :)

p.s. i know you might be a little heated by peoples' reaction to your comments, but you shouldn't take your anger out on everyone. not everyone is out to get you i promise...even if you do show very little respect to/for them.

    one love.

  • @Wigothe

don't give me that bullshit that you were trying to help.

The only reason i had "incorrect punctuation"

is because im simply typing a comment not writing a fucking book.

But sense you want to put it that way, ill show you how irony works.

I wasn't trying to insult you nether, i just figured i'd help you out a little. my bad if i offended you.

    you're Selfpwning.

  • @shiryet

Out of curiosity, is English not your first language?

  • @almix12

Yes and ur mum was my first love.

  • @Wigothe

"however, that you're correcting me when previous comments of yours have incorrect punctuation" That's the exact thing i said when I read your attempt to correct my comments. And the only reason I started correcting yours is because you started correcting mine first.

    Type some more.

  • shiryet: if that's the way you feel! lol

  • We're saying you're an asshole.

  • @hirofan

    We're? who's we're??No one here knows you.

You don't even know whats going on.

you read 2 or 3 comments, then you reply to somebody you don't even know just to be apart of something that doesn't even concern you. Why are you here typing? I didn't even say anything to you. i bet you sat here for like 10 minutes reading all my comments because you have nothing better to do you fucking loser.

  • I read the part where you bragged that you can play this and that. I just don't understand why it was necessary for you to say anything if you had nothing positive to say.

  • @shiryet

Try to play exactly what they are.. you'll find its not the "easyest shit to play ever"

I'm not saying its easier or harder. I'd say its easier to get started on just in terms of muscle memory but it's impossible to master any instrument completely.

  • I love this beat

  • damn..the temptations

  • Look at my beautiful brothers and sisters! I love it!

  • u are a shit sucker! SHUT THE HELL UP!

  • beautiful.

  • talk proper english, dickhead, you think your so hard, internet tough guy, but you know that isn't the real you, so don't think your fuckin fooling anyone.

  • Wonderful video. I have had a difficult time finding this kind of documentary footage of African culture. Thank you for sharing. Much respect. Peace~

  • cant we look past the race boundary?

accept the beauty of of human dance.

  • Thank you for posting. I just read some comments and I'm absolutely disgusted with some people. I half African (from Cameroon on dad's side) and half Puerto Rican. Some comments left on this video have been downright ignorant and uneducated. I mean this for both sides the black and white people who have left rude comments. Some just don't understand what it means to judge a person not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

  • Not for nothin' but this reeeeeeeeeeeally sounds like it was done on a cheap casio keyboard, and looped.

  • oh i forgot to say that music and dance was born out of africa....i love being black

  • White people keep posting shit because they know they don't have half the dignity and culture that my Africa has.

    Stupid crackers.

  • Do white people have culture? Or is it that they take from everybody else culture....indians africans jews, asians etc..im not a racist but i always wonder that....

  • Yes We have.

yeah indians, Hey you American, do you know how

your America was found ? White couldn't get to

    India.

  • There are many definitions of culture. One of those being the anthropology defintion that states: the sum total of ways of living built up by a group of human beings and transmitted from one generation to another. It is people's ability to use knowledge from others to benefit their own generation that insures their survival. That is what makes culture. Some synonyms for culture: development, society, knowledge, and lifestyle. I hope I've helped answer your question. Much respect. Peace~

  • the bastard that posted this must have done it out of spice. the sound is some cacophony noise manufactured on a computer. African music is the sound of the drum.

  • You're not African, you're American I take it. This isn't culture, this was last tuesday. Anyways, the only difference between all of the races are where our ancestors first inhabited the earth, in which the pigment of our skin adapted to the climate. That's a reason for such hate and debate if I ever heard one, don't you agree.

  • Hmmm, I kept waiting for some nigger to start rapping

  • Please can someone tell me where I can get hold of some beats like this? Something about tribal music, stirs something up inside me, which I want to get in touch with. It would be much appreciated

  • World Beat Music is one place. There are many cd's out that are of this type of music. I love to drum. R U in USA? There are many drum circles to learn how yourself. Very powerful. It's the heartbeat of the earth and her people.

  • No i'm afraid not, I live in little old England, I will be sure to check that site out though, thank you. Do you think it's worth having a buthcher's on Amazon? I bought a couple of bongos a few years ago now, I struggle to find the time to play. Think I will have to stick with the dancing and leave the playing to someone else ha

  • they look like the spanish Moors. Das de sound de white man cud not stand. coz his melanin is not enuff do be able to comprehend wata a gwon

  • So primitive.

  • TMI . . .lol I have seen videos like this befour. I have read about lots of tribs like the zulu, bushman, hottentot etc. Let me ask it this way does this tribe still function in this manner still? Alot of videos that I see today are from late 1800's to mid 1900's.

  • What a wonderful video. Do Real african tribes such as this exist still? I hope so.

  • U are in a tribe weather u are in the city, township,or the bush, which is where this vid is from...Basically u are born into

a tribe so the answer to your question yes there is and always will be "REAL" tribes in

mother africa, nothing has changed over the centuries what u see is not new.

  • Best ever music

    Thanks

  • ORCS

  • It's good someone is documenting some of the old ways. It's so terrible when a culture is lost.

  • great video. where can i get a copy of that music?

  • james secretly has a fetish for black people

  • So do I, but it's actually not so secret. =)

And this video is great. I think African culture is so cool and interesting. The tribal dances are really something to watch. =)

  • i love this, and african chants, and alot of things about africa. but you can see her breast! 2:28

  • um first off.

theve been isolated in the same place for many thousands of years. iff u stay in once place and survive then u dont create new inventions. because its uneccasary. u suckka. and besides theres more then a 10,000 tribes in africa soo dont tell me my people are dumb savages u cunt.

  • shut up you ignorant trash. you hate others because you can't stand yourself. and you probably have a 2 inch dick.
