I have a theory. Republicans know that it looks bad for McCain now since he took the "leadership" role to get it passed according to his campaign anyway. Maybe they're so disenchanted with him and his VP pick after her air headed interviews that they are going to throw the election for him? Maybe they know that if McCain is elected his administraiton will be such a dissaster that Republicans will forever lose any credibility. Kinda like an animal chewing it's foot off to save it's self...
Just so we're clear, this bail-out is a foul-tasting piece of crap. But look what happens when congress DOESN'T act. Our 401k's, our mutual funds, our retirements are put at risk. Those wall street f*ckers are holding a gun to our future.
I'm scared of repugnicon economic policies that are destroying the nation. I grew up in an America that was number one, and mostly lived up to its responsibilities. starting in january 1981, that slowly started to fall away.
