hey i tested most of the home made traps and the way i sorted all the mice in house and car was the bucket with a scewer going thru the bottle with peanut butter on the bottle and when they walk onto it the bottle spins and they fall in and put motor oil in the botom of the bucket and also the blue rat baits in each corner of the house and car and been mouse free for 3months

mice and rats learn real fast, all it takes is one to escape a trap, they will teach the others to advoid it or even trip it and then eat the bait. i traped one and the others ate it! so if you trap them and let them go, they will be back, and smart enought to not get fooled again.

i saw in another vid, use paper tower core instead of that bottle(if that bottle is glass that is. it look too heavy to be tip over by a mouse, but at least it can tip over by 7 mice) with the paper tower core, it have to go inside to get the peanut butter. so it cant jump out of the way when the core fall. or balance the bottle so it easier to be tip.

nice idea! I'm sure it does work well. I use to use a kitchen sized trash can without a bag with a bit of bait inside to lure them in.. they would hang and fall in trying to get the food and it was too high for them to jump out.. three a night at least for my first week.. I have one now out in the yard to remove the field mice from around my home. I love the bottle idea though.. I might try it!
