I'm still working on it...they did said it was rigorous works. You might be a genius but I am kind of dumb; let me have a bit of time and you will see magnificent works!
:O I was looking this up to study for my diff eq exam.... Saw the chairs and thought they looked awfully familiar. Looked up the professor and realized you go to the same college as me! :D Thanks for the video! Helped a lot. ^^ BTW I'm also studying EE!
The 0 is always in the upper left box for W(1) and upper right box for W(2), and the space below the 0 belongs to f(x) which is the right side of the initial equation. In this case the f(x) should be x^4.e^x however I believe Amber just made a mistake writing out the equation in the question ( the left side should read x^2.e^x. If i a wrong please correct me.
Man, I did all this stuff around the same time you did (apparently, by the video post date). I can't remember how much of this stuff works, especially the Wronskian stuff :( ODEs are a huge weak point for me for some reason.
Oh my gosh, the y double prime and the y prime in one equation? Is this a differential equation? I hated those things. One long-ago semester of them was enough.

you can find the particular solution of this equation with undetermined coefficients, it is not necessary to use variation of paremeters ...

in the W(1) and W(2), Where does the 0 and consequently x^2.e^x come from??

I believe this equation is too easy, and I dont know that the name of this equation is cauchy-euler, but great work !
