The difference with a normal cancelled test is that you know that it will be on in the near future. Now I don't believe in this rapture thing anyway, but assuming it's going to happen, I don't see how you can know when and that it will happen in our lifetime.

Secondly, preparing for a test does not cause you to not prepare for other future things as well. But the rapture is the end of life as we know it, so why bother with things like pensions, etc.?

Does God even want people to prepare??
