i think this bike is legal in all states.public law pl107-319 classifies small electric bikes as street legal with no license.if the cops give u a ruff time just show them the law.

i have a electric bike and had a problem in the parks but never on the street.the more i ride my bike the less i like my car.

I agree cdltpx. Why do they penalize for having an electric bike in the first place. It sounds like it is easier to use a GAS powered scooter in your state. Sounds like another Oil industry backed legislation to me.

We need national laws that alow electric bikes without registration insurance cycle endorsement. In Louisiana I can ahve some stiff charges if I get caught riding my electric bike.

People like you... I swear... I could go 20 mph when I was 10 years old, do you want a cookie? The point of an electric assist bike, is to be able to ride to work, up all the hills, for 10 miles, carrying everything you need for work. When you go 20 "without even trying" you are not going 20 for 10 miles, carrying 40 lbs of stuff with you.
