Oasis - 1994 Unknown Venue/Date - Supersonic & Shakermaker

On TOTP everyone mimed apart from whoever was number 1 that week 'I think'. They would be the only one's to play live. Also sometimes they used to have 'special guests' on the show. The 'special guests' would also play live. But everyone else pretty much had to use playback. This is not playback. Well the vocals definitely are not playback. I'm not too sure about the instruments.

ok, i love oasis as much as the next guy, but i think the instruments might be mimed. noel's solo on supersonic is note for note the same as on the album and the hand claps during the coda of supersonic arent appearing to be coming from anywhere. dont give me a bunch of crap for saying that. i love oasis too, but its just what it looks like to me

i guess this came from a show called "Something for the weekend"... there's another video on youtube of rock n roll star from this same 'gig' and there they show you what the title of this show is. if that's the case this would have been at: The Warehouse, Leeds, England... 1 July 1994

here you can't have a go at oasis for miming on TV, everyone has to mime on tv, you don't have a choice on most shows, Liam actually refuses to do it often and purposefully makes a mess of it to embarrass shows that ask him to do it, actual gigs they never mime

mcfcbanno, Oasis have mimed on EVERY "Let there be love" live performance, apart from 1 when it was acoustic and Noel was singing.

You're right , in fact they've mimed many times 'cos of stupid TV shows unable to let them play live.

Each time they've seem to really HATE IT and always try to screw the record .

(Check out "Roll with it " on TOTP (with LIAM pretending to be noel on guitar, or "Stop crying your heat out" on Hit machine(french tv show)with Alan and Gem laughing at Noel hilarious moves)

I love how shit it sounds when they fade out supersonic. Ive been on totp and its hard not to laugh when you finish the song. Oasis in my opinion were the best thing to come out of britain in the 90's.
