Any publicity is good publicity, i refuse to think that they meant ridicule in the ad, but now i was interested enough to read more about Firnas. Humor is a trivial thing, you might take it as an offense, but it really isn't and if the ad were to be about the right brothers, no one would've minded that! The irony..

How come they removed the ad then re-uploaded it one more time to remove the comments! shame! I don't think you should remove this video just keep it to remind them when they create new advertising..the other point is that ad should not be removed because "some customers perceived the ad as offensive" but because its offensive to our great scientist who was the first one to fly in the history! unfortunately encouraging trivial is the new trend..I STILL CAN'T SEE VODAFONE APOLOGY BY THE WAY!

Any publicity is good publicity, i refuse to think that they meant ridicule in the ad, but now i was interested enough to read more about Firnas. Humor is a trivial thing, you might take it as an offense, but it really isn't and if the ad were to be about the right brothers, no one would've minded that! The irony..

How come they removed the ad then re-uploaded it one more time to remove the comments! shame! I don't think you should remove this video just keep it to remind them when they create new advertising..the other point is that ad should not be removed because "some customers perceived the ad as offensive" but because its offensive to our great scientist who was the first one to fly in the history! unfortunately encouraging trivial is the new trend..I STILL CAN'T SEE VODAFONE APOLOGY BY THE WAY!

1. howa 3alem moslem yes, but he's not arabic, he's from Andalusia - so refering to them as "our scientists", the only connection you have with him is religion, and that is hardly a connection.
2. he actually developed a way to cut crystal that caused spain to stop exporting quartz to egypt to be cut... putting a big gap in egypt's stronghold on the process at the time effecting egypt's economy.
