Excellent videos. Very thoughtful. Freedom is precious and I am sad to see it slowly eroded by consensus achieved through various mainstream media and government agencies/ bureaucracies. . As for a .22LR rifle it would be my primary choice also. I do shoot pistols too but the .22 rifle would be my primary choice. A .22lr is no joke especially in high-velocity 40 grain loadings. and is fantastic for foraging for small game which will be more readily available
Simplest food to pack which I have in my BOB is any body building calorie heavy bars. The Colossal 100's have 400 to 420 calories in EACH bar. Takes very little room and a great way to supplement your diet.
I got one of those giant fresnel lenses out of an old projection TV that will melt lead. Direct the sunlight onto a pressure cooker full of water with copper tubing coming off the vent and you can distill water practically forever as long as the sun is up.
why can't you "patriots" in the UK fight for your rights to defend yourself and to own a gun like it used to be? I hope you all can change things there.
I got the Katadyn pocket micro. Yes, it's over $200 but it will filter 10,000 gallons on one ceramic cartridge. But before you use the filter, try boiling and distilling first. Keep the filter for when you desperately need. it. Thousands of people died in Yugoslavia/Serbia from snipers when they darted out to fetch a gallon or two of water. A coleman dual fuel stove and extra pump parts and a drum or two of unleaded gasoline will fuel your cooking for months, will boil a gallon in 10 min.
they are only meant for short term emergency use or as a backup to your distiller etc. while you are on the run. The Katadyn pocket micro $200 will filter 10,000 gallons, or so the pamphlet says.
Folks, Mike is absolutely correct... Water, tuna, rice and veg oil. A human can live for a while on these supplies. Suppliment the things you like, but make SURE you have plenty of the above. Add some protein powder, vitamins and sugar and you're good.
read the articles mike, something a bit sinister is happening. Maybe they are negotiating a devaluation or some emergency SDR deals.... ???? Or are we there dictating again because we are going to slam Iran ?
I like getting those canned hams at walmart for about $3.00 or so. They are small and can be eaten in a good meal or two and they store a long time. They are great to make soup out of and arent as salty as spam. Yes, you will need salt too.
NWO people are spending more money on a superduperbowl party right now than your survival kit. Dry beans, spices and rice in a pressure cooker= meal in 10 minutes. Stainless steel pressure cooker is best!
Welcome back, havent seen you for a while. Good to know you are ok.
I too get that funny feeling too that something is about to give. On YT and other forums I have noticed many unrelated people saying or suggesting similar. Had wondered how long they could artificially prop things up.
Mike, I've had the feeling the last two weeks that I can only describe as "holding my breath" or being on edge, like a prey animal that knows there's a predator near. In the last year and a half - two years of being aware and prepping, I haven't felt like that at all. Now, I just feel like there's a huge amount of tension building and something has gotta give . . . soon.
And I feel more urgent about getting things done that I need to do.

I alway get puzzled about people wanting these expensive filters that only work for 300 gallons... Boiling and distilling is a better alternative.
btigtime2 2 years ago
Boiling is a very good alternative, but keep in mind the amount of FUEL needed. If the fuel is not an issue, boiling is the better way to go.

Milk containers work great too. Fortunate enough to have a well with an R.O. at home, and a spring at the front door of my secondary bugin.
VERY GOOD "on the cheap" prepare vid!

a 550-round "brick+" of 22LR Federals at Walmart are $14-$15. it's very good ammo that even works in autoloading pistols
other clean water sources are your tank (don't flush LOL!) and your hot water heater is good for 40-50 gals
