  • would it look ok if i have naturally reddish blonde hair i guess and use black tracks the same way u did in the video

  • My mom always told me to never put glue in your hair!..lol

  • im thinking about cutting my hair REALLY short a little higher then my shoulders and donate it.. then if its too short for me i might try this.. should i do it?...

  • How owuld you do it if you wanted to dye the extensions a different color then your hair? I want to dye my extensions another color and have the extensions show under my natrual hair. how many wefts should i use? and where would i put them so you cant see my original hair that the extensions have to be clipped in?

  • i have short layers and thick hair would it look too noticable?

  • I'm a stylist who's been wearing extensions for years. This is latex bonding. It's about the worst thing you can do to your hair.It doesn't last more then a week or two, your own natural oils break the latex down into a gummy mess which is impossible to get out, conditioners make it slip. When you remove it you'll be left with gummies in your hair for days/weeks, and you almost always end up pulling your own hair out too. If you're going to bond, try liquid gold. It's way better for your hair.

  • @missbrenn Thanks for the tip, I was wondering what u thought of adhesive tape?? same mess? ive been wearing clip ins for years and wanna try a nice do-it-myself alternative that will make my morning routine faster!!! (I want to buy my usual pre-clipped extensions and remove the clips cuz i feel like it's cheaper) Thanks!

  • @hmbundy Way easier on your hair, but you'll only get about a week of wear, and you cant really shampoo. I'd be weary of attaching clip-in hair this way too. The hair is cheaper because its lower quality, which is fine for clip-ins as you don't wash them as much, and they don't go through as much wear and tear. You usually get less actual hair then you would with a full bag of good, non-clip hair too. Check out products like "hairdo" which are still clip based, but way faster.

  • @missbrenn I like the quality of my extensions, I wear them every day and wash them about 3 or 4x a week (as I do my own hair). I find that Headkandy is VERY similar to higher end products such as Easixtend Elite, except MUCH cheaper and alot more hair! However, I have never tried hairdo. Would u recommend the gold bond over the tape? Or will it only last a week as well?

  • @hmbundy Looking at the website, I wouldn't buy the hair, but if it's working for you, or for it. I'm not sure how you'd attach the quad weft either. some people can get 4-6 weeks with gold bond. I personally don't get that long, but my hair is really slippery, and only a few methods work really well on me. Try doctoredlocks for their tutorials on how to use liquid gold. Their prices for the starter kit are really reasonable too. about 10$. I buy all my supplies from them. Good Luck!

  • @missbrenn If you get the growth protection solution it helps to keep the glue from bonding to your hair and so you avoid that gummy feel. Gluing hair in is not as bad for the hair as it used to be there are ways to protect the hair from the glue

  • @MsSheena871 I'm aware of such products, but it really comes down to the fact that there are still better, safer more resilient options. Liquid gold is exactly the same method for attaching, lasts longer, no gummies, and removes easily with their remover, without residue or breakage. At this point, I've wore them all, and I won't lie, I'll resort to latex for a quick fix, but I always end up regretting it. It's not AS bad as it used to be, but it's still not good, and there are better options.

  • @MsSheena871 Gro protect solution also wouldn't work with this type of application.

  • @missbrenn When I do this type I run the GPS across first and then blow dry it then I attach the track and when I wash my hair with warm water the track comes right out,but it takes a little more time to do it this way.I have only used the latex because I didnt know about the other kind but with the GPS, I now have healthy hair even though I use the tracks

  • @MsSheena871 The reason GPS wouldn't work in this application is because most caucasians wearing bonded extensions wont go that many days without shampooing. Caucasians tend to produce more sebum anyways on average, and less curly textures start separating noticeably when the hair gets oily. It's not really a cleanliness thing, though many girls think it is, its just that it looks bad. GPS washes away when you shampoo, and I guarantee you shes looking to shampoo a few times before re-applying.

  • @MsSheena871 That having been said, on someone with thicker, curlier hair, using something like GPS if you plan to wear until your next shampoo is a GREAT tip. Gold Bond wouldn't need something like GPS, because the remover for Gold Bond removes the adhesive without damage, so long as you follow directions. Also note, when I say curly, I'm talking about the natural texture, regardless of how you actually wear it. More curly textures tend to absorb more oils, even if you straighten it.

  • how long does the extensions usually last? like a month?

  • How do you remove those? It seems like it would be fairly difficult....also, is it easy to style?

  • @lalaluvtech Remove:But conditioninr below the glue and above the glue and let it sit. for a while. Then they should come off

  • @lalaluvtech *Put not but. Sorry excuse my typo(:

  • Im on the swim team so i take showers every tues and thurs so,

  • can u sleep with them nd what if someone Pulls them?

  • Totally COOL! Thanks:)

So, they use white glue for blond hair? Can you see where they are glued on, easier with blond hair? Is it more noticable I mean? Does it pull out any of your hair when you remove them with the conditioner method? Do they bother you when you sleep?

I know a preteen with very light blond hair and I'm sure she would like to try this and I'd like to help her. I just don't want to screw it up! lol What is the next "answer to Q;s" video called? I want to watch it! Thanks :)

  • thanks:) btw your so beautiful:')!

  • you are so awkward looking but its definitely a compliment, im weird like that, i find you soo beautiful

  • dont know if you said this already..but are these the tracks that you sewed together to make thick or is it one layer?? asking because i dunno if its hard to glue the double layer..

  • @AphroditesPinkNitie Could you do a video showing how you layer your extenstions ?

  • You looks like Jayde Nicole! You're so pretty! :)

  • I love how she said "Take that info for what its worth" without sounding tacky. Most chicks these days have no tact or class.

  • @aboyden2011 thanks for the compliment!

  • wow your hair extenssions look amazing! thanks for sharing

  • @princesnina thank you for watching :)

  • And also I wanted to ask of the glue is harmful in any way?

Youtube didn't give me enough space to ask in the first comment :)

    Thanks again!

  • @ArtisticFaces i'd say that yes, the glue is harmful because it really adheres to your hair well. However, if you leave the tracks in as long as possible until they start coming out on their own a little, and if you use the smallest amount of glue possible, it will not damage too too much. Be careful not to pull too hard when you remove them, just pull gently and use tons of conditioner on the tracks

  • @AphroditesPinkNitie Hmm.. Although the glue-ins look great, I'm still pretty scared...

So for now I think I'll just stick to my clip ins until my own hair grows out.

But thanks for the advice! It was really helpful and appreciated..

  • @ArtisticFaces apply oil to the tracks and slide it down your hair, never pull away from your head, just pull them down and it should slide out easily.

  • Hello! Wonderful vid, very helpful.

I've been using clip in extensions for a few years now because I keep my hair around shoulder length because it is too fine to let grow out, but I find that clip ins take too much maintenance having to take them in and out every day, and I have to tease my hair in order to get the clips to stay in. I've been contemplating using glue in extensions but I have no one I trust enough to help, but your video has helped me see how it is done.

    Thanks!

  • also i have a question, would it look okay if i just did two.. because i just want them for length?

  • waaay too much talking. Appreciate the effort though!

  • Heeey i have another question, I got synthetic hair extensions because i only want to bonded them and leave them for about 5 days. have you ever try synthetic hair? im scared they will look fake and how they will look after i wash them....let me know if u know something about synthetic hair extensions please

  • @gssik1234 they will look very fake, &you probably shouldn't wash them, you'd be better off getting Really cheap human hair.. there was this girl at my school who had synthetic hair &it looked just like yarn. i hope this helped!

  • This is by far the best tutorial i found on youtube for bonding hair extensions. Thank you so much i finally know how to make my extensions look good! :D

  • whered you get those tracks and what are they called?

  • Comment removed

  • can u tell me the inches of the hair extensions u are using?

  • @gssik1234 i think those were 18" but i had already trimmed them a little so they are probably around 16 or 17" in the video

  • @AphroditesPinkNitie thanks for the quit answer! how easy is to remove those hair extensions?

  • @gssik1234 the 1st time it sucks! its best to wait a few weeks so they loosen up and might start to come out on their own a little. the best way to get them out is to put a ton of conditioner above and below each section ON the glue. wait about 10 minutes and then get in the shower and slowly pull the hair from the ENDS. it should pull out fairly easily if they have been in there for a while. the longer u leave them in, the easier they are to get out. i usually go about 3 weeks.

  • @AphroditesPinkNitie Thank you girl! your are very helpful! i already try bonded hair extensions, but i didnt know how to take them out! right now im using clip in hair extensions, but it;s a pain to put them in the morning and take them out every night and every day! so i guess ill go back with this tecnique! Thanks for this video!

  • @gssik1234 dont pull too hard or it will just hurt u & break your hair. warning! a lot of your own hair will come out. however, when u have the extensions glued in, your hair doesnt really shed naturally (ur supposed to shed about 50-100 hairs a day), so when u take them out, all of the hair that never shedded when u had them in will come out. dont be alarmed. also it usually takes some getting used to when u take out all your nice thick extensions, it feels like u barely have any natural hair

  • @gssik1234 it feels like u lost all ur hair, but you didnt, its just because u got used to having loads of wefts glued in there! once u glue those babies in you'll never want to live without them! so nice and thick!

  • @gssik1234 ur welcome luv!

  • Which nail polish are you wearing in this vid?

  • @starkiss22 sally hansen salon polish (the big rounded bottle) in "pat on the black" its like a dark maroon wine color

  • you do talk a lot

  • @sardeess thats what u do in tutorials

  • can u swim with extensions or will it damage them !

  • @adri3308 you can swim with them just be careful when you brush out the knots that you don't tug too hard of you might pull them out. i would probably put my hair into a braid before swimming just to keep it from getting tangled :) good luck!

  • Where did you buy your extensions?

  • @SierawrSkyyy sally's beauty supply

  • you did a great job.... a tip for blending glue in extensions is to get different lengths for example lets say your natural hair is 12 inches you can get a 16'' and 14'' that way you don't have to cut much and it will blend better with your natural hair

  • i bought some clip ins. i cannot wait to use them. i have to dye them though which is going to be a task because i dye my hair red.

  • I used to do this allllll the time, but my hair was so thin to begin with and i didnt buy the proper oil remover when i took them off so i failed, LOL.

  • Great vid! This is how I do my extensions all the time. I haven't worn them in about a year so I'm ready to go and buy some more what color is your hair? And how many inches were the ones you used, and what was your length to begin with? My hair is about 14 inches long I'm thinking of going with 17 inch extensions. Sorry if you said in the vid i must have missed it if u did. I don't have a twitter account so I'm askin on here. Keep on making great videos!

  • I had an issue when I wore clip ins every day breaking off some of my hair, by using glue do they pull a lot or cause breakage?
