One of my favorite parts in Part 3 is when Tommy Davis is trying to defend the newly edited and repackaged L Ron Hubbard books that Miscavige had done to be resold by force to members to "pump up revenue":

I think it's impt that people be lead to the VIDEO LINKS, not just the articles. It's the extensive VIDEO INTERVIEWS that formed the background reporting on this story that make the expose AIRTIGHT. There is no way Amy Scobee is performing, or has an agenda. The reason I'm guessing 2 years is because it's clear to me they were going to take a huge shot with this, and thus they were going to make it airtight. So presenting it with VIDEOS as well is what is damning & incontrovertible. (SEE NEXT)

This St Petersburg Times investigative series is extraordinary. I am betting it wins a Pulitzer prize. We haven't seen this kind of "old school" journalism in a long time.

Tory, what I want to know is: how OFF THE RADAR was this story while it was brewing? I am guessing this had to have taken two years to assemble, interview, fact check, authenticate, do investigative backgrounders, etc. So, did this expose take most CoS people totally by surprise? .. The video interviews are amazing.

I honestly don't know. I doubt if it took 2 years, but you may be correct. Per the story, they tried to interview Scientology---and ol Tommy has done a brilliant job of proving what they were talking about! Good job, TD! (great for us, seriously bad for Davey boy and gang).

Jason Beghe wrote in to St. Pete's Times after Part 1 was slammed by CoS on Mon. to refute their smear job of marty, making the argument "why would they send an incompetent person to go after Tom Cruise after he left?" and explains Cruise was not into Scientology for about 10 years. One of the links to that story (maybe it was in Village Voice) said that Jason had hinted that '2 days from now some real heavy shit is going to hit' .

I don't feel sorry for Tommy Davis. He's supporting the intense abuses of Davey boy and thus ensuring more and more people are harmed.
