I spit out my soda when Orson Bean says "I am not Dr. Lester; I am Captain Merton"! and then he whips out a BOOK which explains all about the portal, complete with illustrations. it's RICH. THe movie's central theme, tho, is man-bashing, so it is still a typically Hollywood film.
