  • just bought mine from them... in transit now...

  • How do you control it in the air like that brakes?

  • what its top speed ?

  • break anything?

  • @AllAmericanNINJA Yeah, broke a few things but for the amount of abuse the truck held up great!

  • people who post rc bashing should see this video.. that was Awesome!!!

PS - people bad mouthing can suck on my .................

  • Air!

  • Sick jumpage lol

  • 6s lipo or 8s lipo ????

  • @Black0revirD120 6S, I couldn't imagine this truck on 8S!

  • xD

    Nice Jumps ;)

  • Would the RPM Center Skid / Protector Plate work with this Chassis?

  • @Hassasin195 I've never tried it and if my memory is correct from people on the forums it won't fit.

  • @TCScrawlers

    Alright.

Nothing that a good drill press and a tapping set can't fix.

    XD

  • By the way, have you upgraded the shock spring for this video?

    If so, which one?

Also, is there any center skid plate for TCS XL chassis?

Any plan for one? If so,,, plastic one would be great.!

  • @xxgg Hey! We used the stock springs for this video. We don't make a center skid for our chassis and don't plan to make one. Sorry.

  • Could you tell me the part number of the extended dogbone that is required to be used with TCS XL chassis?

  • @xxgg HPI Dogbone 8x142mm Black #86054

  • Can you tell me that extended dogbone part number?

  • @xxgg HPI Dogbone 8x142mm Black #86054

  • malade

  • I hafe the TCS 5 mm is on jear old :-) ans perfekt ! see the video

  • cool :-)

  • I destroy my Savege Flux at every jump... I'm the only one? :-(

  • @eichioba I don't always destroy mine when I jump, but when doing big jumps like this it doesn't take long before something lets loose!!! But it's still sooooo much fun! :)

  • Man thats some sweet air. I wish yall made this chassis for the Savage XL. I would for sure buy it.

  • Any info for a savage xl? Buying one next month and I want to do this lol... I just prefer nitro; I'm not saying it's better I just prefer it... Any ways ya help?

  • @tamayo16 Hello, we have no plans at this time to make a chassis for the nitro version. Although, after running my flux for over a year now I need to get my two nitros back up and running. A bad batch of fuel ruined both my motors! :(

  • @tamayo16 Hello, we have no plans at this time to make a chassis for the nitro version. Although, after running my flux for over a year now I need to get my two nitros back up and running. A bad batch of fuel ruined both my motors! :(

  • @tamayo16 you must be a girl then...nah, just kidding. I had a savage xl and it was a brilliant truck which made an awesome noise. I personally wouldn't bother upgrading anything on it because there is no point. They are tough as nails from the factory. If you do happen to break something, then replace it. I don't see the point it spending thousands on 'bling' when all it does is slow your truck down and potentially make a weak point somewhere else. Good work on the flux tvp's TCScrawlers though

  • where can u find this chassis at?is it availiable

  • @Rkgriffy Search on tcscrawlers for TCS Flux 5T conversion kit

  • @Rkgriffy Oops, I made a mistake on my other reply. Search on tcscrawlers for tcs flux 5mm

  • THE sound is owful :S

  • @skypeon1 I AGREE..

  • Now thats how you treat a Savage!

  • did the chassis bend

  • @js64984 Nope! Straight as an arrow after all that abuse! These chassis plates are tough!

  • You do know you motors about to go right?

  • Been looking at a few Savage Flux vids. That was the first one where I saw someone jumping this thing to it's potential.

    Nice.

  • @wepootheuser Thanks! We had fun doing it too!!!!!!!

  • this video fn rocks

  • yes the 5mm chassis is good its the other plastic pieces or aluminum pieces that have the critical failure especcially when cartwheeling

  • wow..nice jumps...it looks so easy :D

  • Will this work on converting a savage 25 to a flux? I'm a newb to savages

  • @littleAZN248 No, you need the HPI conversion kit if you want to convert a nitro savage to the electric flux.

  • In that case i have a savage flux for sale....one charge run thru it.

$550 can be seen at Ben Palmer's hobby garage in helena, montana.

  • @ithacam6 Whadya know I was planning a trip out to Helena, Montana real soon.

  • that's sweet, and what mods are required to use it?

i can sell several of your chassis if you comp me one for my flux hp.

also how about a skid plate for the center?

  • @ithacam6 No mods are required to install the 5mm chassis. It's a direct replacement. We don't make a skid for the center. Thanks.

  • @TCScrawlers sweet now all you need is a center skid and a cage.

  • @ithacam6 Sorry, no plans in the works to do a skid or cage.

  • @ithacam6 RPM makes a center skid and i think rc solutions has a roll cage.

  • I treated my first savage .21 the same way. While all my buddies spent all there time working on there trucks. Try that shit with a TMaxx ,I don't think so.

  • finally its great to see someone that can jump an rc probably well done

  • Hey, that plane of yours has the tiniest wings! I can barely see them!

  • 1:10 lmao!!

  • I want the XL version back in stock......

  • @DrnkSqrrlProductions We just ordered the XL versions from the same shop that is making our normal length flux chassis. We should have them in 30 to 60 days and now the XL version is available in black, blue, red, and orange. You can pre-order them on TCS now.

  • nice video ;)

  • did i just poo.. yea i just pooped myself. insane truck and a great driver/flyer lol

  • This is how I treat my ERBE... you should whip up a chassis for that.

  • just awesome, the Chassis can take excessive beating. I got mine 2

  • Thats savage tough!!

  • I've watch 20 video today with (Big Jump or Huge jump) on video description. This is the only one that worth the use of BIG .

    Awsom job

  • JUST bought me some blue ones from thier site they are on the way to my house now lol

  • haha u hit so hard the esc turned off and then on again.

    nice

  • Verry nice jumps, this is a man who knows how to jump!

  • Wicked video...you now your flux's limits very well...lol..

    good driving...cheers!!

  • Damn, not bad!!!

  • It sounds horrible lol

  • I'm DEAF

  • very good flyer !! :)

  • cool jumps but i can this too

  • Yes he is is.The Bullet is awesome they dont have that here yet.I am sorry for the comment but I have seen this 4x4 slash break alot the first run and it was discouraging because I wanted one.cheers

  • Nice vid man. I bought this chassis and i recommend it strongly. Great value for money! 5/5

  • For all of those Traxxas lovers out there I'd like to see this done with an E revo or Emaxx brushless and compare the damage report.....Savage Rocks!!

  • I admit that the savage can take a heck of a beating but a traxxas slash 4x4 could do this day in and day out without breaking, traxxas trucks can hold their own

  • Your full of it.We tested a 4x4 slash and broke more parts than we ever seen a truck break in 25 years ON THE FIRST BASH.Yes the 4x4 Slash is pretty cool but dont try to compare it to a savage or you look like a jackass

  • mate, my comment was towards killdeezy who seems pretty full of it. I was just saying don't underestimate traxxas trucks. And by the way I'm buying the new HPI Bullet MT Flux so wtf

  • dam good video! you cant beat a savage flux for fun!

  • great video great outtakes

  • Hey I thought this was a rc truck vid, not rc flight :]

  • About half and half! :)

  • Wow!!! NIce video! At the bad landings it look like someone was just throwing the Flux, lol.

  • i dont think anyone can throw at 6s power lol

  • Did anything on this break during the making of this?

  • Yup, several things. This video was made from several runs and we did break some parts. But considering what we did to the truck, there where very few broken parts.

  • what was broken specificly? where they expensive?

  • Nothing that commonly breaks is really that expensive. I know we went through some A-arms, and the rear upright sets are a common failure as well.

  • Nitro vehicles make the same gear sound but you just can't hear it over the loud engine. Nice jumps.

  • HOLY SHIT MAN, im so trading in my Revo for this LOL kinda loud though

  • I just finished changing my stock tvp to the TCS extended tvp on my Flux. Looks great. Have not tried yet. TCS chassis rocks !!!

  • The reason the drivetrain sounded so loudly is because the truck has a metal spur and pinion brrrrrding!!

  • You are a realy ggood driver

  • Nice videob, but I hate the savage. But why do the gear make such a funny noise?

  • gotta love a savage.... Tmaxx would have probably snapped in half when it hit the rock the first time

  • Comment removed

  • cos traxxas are shit...

  • There was some perfect control there. Good job.

  • Super cool!!

  • Were there anymore teeth on the spur gear after running it? Haha it sounded awful to me. Looked sweet though.

  • No problem with gear train, thats just how the Flux sounds, or at least how it sounds on the camera we used.

  • did anything break after this?

  • Yeah, we did break some parts while testing and shooting this video. Like any good video, you only use a small fraction of what you actually recorded. So this video is the result of about 10 to 15 hard runs and plenty of carnage.

  • where in glendale is that spot sweet jumps

  • It's a fun spot near Glendale Ave and 43rd Ave.

  • can you use 20c batteries in tha savage flux?? nice vid 5/5

  • Probably, but you'll have to verify with HPI.

  • brutal!

  • power!!

  • Why was this video cutted permanently? It says nothing about the quality of the mentioned chassis. Just like a promotiona video.

  • The video says a lot about the durability of the chassis. That was one chassis that went through all that testing with no issues. Remember, the title says testing video.

  • Testing Or Smashing ? :-? think more :)

  • Definitely testing! ;)

  • damn!!! nice video! did anything brake?! probably...can you list what though?

    thanks,

    G

  • Yeah, it was a while ago but I'm sure I broke a couple parts (battery trays and mounts, stock front arms, etc). It was fun though! :)

  • i am not surprised! those jumps were massive...i went to your website put i couldn't find the chassis...gonna have to look again...thanks

  • search tcs 5mm flux

  • thanks!

  • sick R/C car

    I wanna get one

  • what do u think will be better this or the new traxxas e-maxx brushless?

  • The flux is hard to beat!

  • Nice control of the truck! I have been learning how to keep mine stable in the air and also a few backflips here and there. I am curious how many parts you broke? I'd guess few to none... I also like how thick your chassis is, good work!

  • I broke my fair share of parts. The good thing is these trucks are easy to work on and fix. It's fun wrenching on them too.

  • @SlowKrawl I broke some parts, but not too many considering how hard it was bashed on.

  • how much does it cost

  • super job my man,,,keep em comming ,its nice to see others that can land 99 percent of there jumps ,Theres a few users on youtube that keep posting the same old scrap over and over ,anyone can hit a ramp and crash,,It takes a bit of know how to land the stuff....Again nice vid bro.

  • nice big air time cool

  • omfg!!!!!

  • Awesome video.....finally someone who uses their flux like i do. cant wait to get my hands on the new xl chassis......hopefully in 5mm.

  • how the hell are the shocks still intact

  • i am wondering the same thing!!!!

  • Awesome to hear, I will wait for that one to be available then :)

  • Man that looks like a blast!

I love the look of your chassis, and certainly cant beat the price. Only thin I have really been looking for is an extended chassis. Do you have any of those in the works?

  • Yup, theres an XL version in the works and its a blast!

  • Just amazing! Id say the brushless rc era has started..... bye bye nitro....

  • Just plain awesome :). You really bash the hell out of it. If you will make an nice extended chassis I might buy it. The LiPo's inside the chassis would be awesome then! My stock TVP's are still holding up great, but I don't bash as extreme as you. Keep it up!

  • Hey Ryan, we have the flux kits on the store as well as tons of other goodies for them. So you can always buy direct and use your team discount. I was running two 3S lipos in series (stock setup). This thing is an animal on two 3S lipos!

  • Yeah I noticed that you have them for $572 in the store. That is the cheapest I have seen.

I may have to order one soon. My birthday is Friday the 10th so maybe Teresa won't kill me.

  • Seams like it would be a nice birthday gift to yourself! :)

  • What batteries are you running??

  • Nice Vid BOSS. Makes me wish I still had my Maxx. If I ever get a Flux I will be sure to get your chassis.

  • Yeah, you can say I broke a couple things! :) That video is from several runs. I broke some front arms and some other pieces here and there over the course of 10-15 runs of hard bashing and jumping. But overall the flux is tough as nails and I love this truck!

  • Now that is how to have some fun with the flux. Did you break anything on those insane jumps?

  • damn dude this is one kick ass vid...

    That's some real nice air

  • sick jump lol. 5* for a good jumper and always good landing

  • Now thats what i'm talking about
