@eichioba I don't always destroy mine when I jump, but when doing big jumps like this it doesn't take long before something lets loose!!! But it's still sooooo much fun! :)
Any info for a savage xl? Buying one next month and I want to do this lol... I just prefer nitro; I'm not saying it's better I just prefer it... Any ways ya help?
@tamayo16 Hello, we have no plans at this time to make a chassis for the nitro version. Although, after running my flux for over a year now I need to get my two nitros back up and running. A bad batch of fuel ruined both my motors! :(
@tamayo16 Hello, we have no plans at this time to make a chassis for the nitro version. Although, after running my flux for over a year now I need to get my two nitros back up and running. A bad batch of fuel ruined both my motors! :(
@tamayo16 you must be a girl then...nah, just kidding. I had a savage xl and it was a brilliant truck which made an awesome noise. I personally wouldn't bother upgrading anything on it because there is no point. They are tough as nails from the factory. If you do happen to break something, then replace it. I don't see the point it spending thousands on 'bling' when all it does is slow your truck down and potentially make a weak point somewhere else. Good work on the flux tvp's TCScrawlers though
I treated my first savage .21 the same way. While all my buddies spent all there time working on there trucks. Try that shit with a TMaxx ,I don't think so.
@DrnkSqrrlProductions We just ordered the XL versions from the same shop that is making our normal length flux chassis. We should have them in 30 to 60 days and now the XL version is available in black, blue, red, and orange. You can pre-order them on TCS now.
Yes he is is.The Bullet is awesome they dont have that here yet.I am sorry for the comment but I have seen this 4x4 slash break alot the first run and it was discouraging because I wanted one.cheers
For all of those Traxxas lovers out there I'd like to see this done with an E revo or Emaxx brushless and compare the damage report.....Savage Rocks!!
I admit that the savage can take a heck of a beating but a traxxas slash 4x4 could do this day in and day out without breaking, traxxas trucks can hold their own
Your full of it.We tested a 4x4 slash and broke more parts than we ever seen a truck break in 25 years ON THE FIRST BASH.Yes the 4x4 Slash is pretty cool but dont try to compare it to a savage or you look like a jackass
mate, my comment was towards killdeezy who seems pretty full of it. I was just saying don't underestimate traxxas trucks. And by the way I'm buying the new HPI Bullet MT Flux so wtf
Yup, several things. This video was made from several runs and we did break some parts. But considering what we did to the truck, there where very few broken parts.
Yeah, we did break some parts while testing and shooting this video. Like any good video, you only use a small fraction of what you actually recorded. So this video is the result of about 10 to 15 hard runs and plenty of carnage.
The video says a lot about the durability of the chassis. That was one chassis that went through all that testing with no issues. Remember, the title says testing video.
Nice control of the truck! I have been learning how to keep mine stable in the air and also a few backflips here and there. I am curious how many parts you broke? I'd guess few to none... I also like how thick your chassis is, good work!
super job my man,,,keep em comming ,its nice to see others that can land 99 percent of there jumps ,Theres a few users on youtube that keep posting the same old scrap over and over ,anyone can hit a ramp and crash,,It takes a bit of know how to land the stuff....Again nice vid bro.
I love the look of your chassis, and certainly cant beat the price. Only thin I have really been looking for is an extended chassis. Do you have any of those in the works?
Just plain awesome :). You really bash the hell out of it. If you will make an nice extended chassis I might buy it. The LiPo's inside the chassis would be awesome then! My stock TVP's are still holding up great, but I don't bash as extreme as you. Keep it up!

If so, which one?
Also, is there any center skid plate for TCS XL chassis?
Any plan for one? If so,,, plastic one would be great.!

@xxgg Hey! We used the stock springs for this video. We don't make a center skid for our chassis and don't plan to make one. Sorry.
