how did you run the wires on your lights in the back doors/windows? I've got an 03 thats got a few lights on it and ive 4 more lights to mount and im thinking about getting some wig wags, but would need to figure out how to wire those up as well. let me know what you did.
@allbulltoday i got a piece of thin (about 1/4" of particle board, took an outline of the center console and then cut it into the wood.. put 4 holes, took the switch out of 4 cigarette plugs and put them in the holes.. wala!
i dont run them on the way to scenes. i use ON scene only because the brights flashing catches attention.. around turns, they can be seen easier than other led's in the sun..
Do the wig wags work well on the trac, I have my own with a roof bar and grill lights as a vol FF and was thinking about getting them, also any suggested retailers for them or how to install them?
@blackhawk7243 i LOVE the wigwags.. very noticeable.. i sometimes use them to clear traffic to get to an accident up ahead during rush hour, and they are obvious.. even when stationary, they provide excellent lights around blind turns because they are your brights turning on and off so they catch peoples attention.. and Whelen makes them for around $50. I bought mine used and it was a quick easy install.. i love to see ur trac, any videos?
Hey thanks, and no videos up yet but ill be sure to get one up soon. Yeah right now i just run a halogen mini bar and have to strob grill lights right in between where the fog lights are. Been running into the problem of the mini bar not working well during the day because its not noticeable so I figured strobes might fix that, Ill let you know when I get a video up.
@blackhawk7243 yea i hear ya! strobes r great! whelen strobes flash faster than SpeedTech strobes, but i like that SpeedTech strobes ARE a little bit slower.. idk y, just do.. and u shuld get a fullsize bar.. u can find some good deals..find light installers in ur state, see if u can pick up a used one off of em..thats where i get my whelen stuff.. but i usually buy new
Seriosuly I would really like a full size but cant find anyone for anything near my budget (college and all) maybe ill try the old crown vic scrap yard and just switch the lenses out. Thanks for the tips btw and ill let u know how it all goes
I just ordered an STL 6 for my car, how do you have yours mounted in the back? Also, how did you mount your lights in the front window? Using the supplied suction cups?
i had a shop in local town do all my instal. BUT they took the suction cup bracked, and drilled two holes in the center of each..they then attaced it to 2 screws above my rear window, and put it on them and added two nuts to keep it in place.. works REALLY good and is way brighter..and yes suction for front, going to mount soon to top visor..

How do you get paid for being a Roadside Assistance person, are you dispatched or do the people call you?
Awesome setup, nice and bright. Are the STL's bright even during the day? Do you think they were worth the money?

What's that "WARN" switch for? Btw, nice setup. :)

for red rear warning lights.... the REAR controls all rear section lighting.. the warn is just 2 lights..
