@zenistic Capybaras are native to peru & * other S.A. countries.They are the favourite prey of the anaconda.They don't live much over 4 in the wild but captive ones can live to 12.Guines pigs,(cui)& chinchillas are a close relative.One nice habit is they will eat their own shit in order to build up bacteria in their gut.They also regurgitate food to chew again & swallow like cud chewing animals. Like the cui, they cannot synthesize vitamin C so have to be given it in fruit in captivity

Está prohibido cazarlos en Uruguay pero no importa poque si ven gente corren despavorídos como si no hubiera mañana. Aparte tienen unos dientes filosos que si te muerden te arrancan un pedazo del brazo o pierna.
