Kind of like the International Police Mountain Bike Association's "ABC Quick Check" but different.
A = Air, which Dan covers, but you should also check tires for sidewall damage.
B = Brakes. Pretty basic there.
C = Chain, cranks, and cogs. I like Dan's interpretation of 'everything the chain touches.'
Quick = Quick releases: wheels, brakes, seatpost and (for some folding bikes) handlebars and frame hinges.
Check = Check it over - look for loose parts and cracked pieces.
