If snk had chosen 4mb ram cart instead of 1mb, i really think this port would be top notch. Probably no loading times between tags.

ROM cart? well, this may sound good but ram lets you use 1 generic cart instead of one for each game, but... what about if the saturn had the chance of using cartridge-only games, what a beast then!!

I think if Sony had chosen for ram carts for these games across the parallel port had got SNK, Capcom ports so good as Saturn or perhaps better.

think not i'm sure that it wouldn't have been better,capcom snk looked like shit on psx while a saturn could have handled it,guardian heros siloueete mirage,astal astal all games you won't see on psx and if so i like the sharper graphics of sega.with psx it's like playing sega genesis in rf it has the same kind of ugly blend over the graphics,i prefer genesis 2 graphics over model 1 couse they're sharper.

Unfortunately, the parallel port was not designed to work with the memory controller inside the PS1 so it was impossible to expand the RAM in the system with something like an add-on cart. It's a shame.

That language option is heaven. Too bad the Saturn port of KOF 97 didn't have it.

fact: KOF 96 for ps have a killer loading time, its the longer loading time i ever see on ps, its depressing try to finish that game in less of one intire day.

but the game is way better than saturn version, cuz saturn sucks since their reliase.

The load time is much more faster than the Playstation version. I have this game for PS1 and Sega Saturn. But I'm missing the Ram for it.

A great game. The saturn have a lot of power for arcade beat em ups. The ppower of the saturn in beat em ups or shooter was much higher than the power of playstation. Sega Saturn is a must have for all arcade fans!!!

Hi dude

Im a fan of both consoles but the saturn was far stronger with 2d graphics as the playstation was with 3d. All the best 2d ports made it on the saturn from SNK, Capcom ECT.

ahh the ps looked the same if no better for 2d. i agree the saturn had many ports of good games.

but it was missing things like capcom vs snk

which in my opinion is the best 2d fighting game made for that console
