"go ahead.. I don't shop here.."

  • We should get Cobra to handle the occupy hippie rallies. NOW THAT'D MAKE HEADLINES!

  • Comment removed

  • this is the best bit.....then it just gets silly with millions of shots being fired and Cobra never gets hit yeah right. Also if you really had a parking standoff with a shower of bastards right outside your house all that would happen is they'd key your motor when you weren't looking and you woildn't be able to do anything about it.

  • I put them away!!!!

  • You'RE.

  • 2:41 - LOL at how he goes from "You wanna talk? We'll talk." to "I don't deal with psychos."

  • IT'S THE WAY OF THE NEW WORLD!

  • Nice!

  • 1:20 Coors Original ... what a bad ass !

  • Its the way of the new world PIG!!!" hahhaha best movie ever...we need a sequel

  • Wow what a badass.

  • Drop it!! *Bang Bang Bang Bang*

  • "Hey... dirtbag... yer a lousy shot..."

  • Yer fuckin A right, zero dislikes...we're talkin about THE COBRA!!!

  • Great scene. Pity it's the only good one in the movie!

  • @mrmaestrom What about "You have the right to remain silent..." (lights a match)

  • He killed the hero of the New World!!!! Oh Noes!

  • that's the way that the criminals must be whipe out, no dealing, not bargain, nothing, just reach them and shoot them with at least 6 bullets in their chest, fuck human rights!!

  • @R20173 He did ask him to drop the shotgun before he put 6 in his gut...........

  • one of his best movies

  • love how stallone grabs a coors tally and drinks it in a bad situation. classic.

  • lol i didnt know that was THE Bridget Neilson from celebrity something-forgot the name of the show. And what action movie isn't complete w/out the climatic power plant scene? Powerplants: cant live with 'em but ya cant live without 'em...either

  • @itsoverforuman She also polayed one of the villians in beverly hills cop 2..

  • Hey! Dirtbag......

  • I don't like lousy shots

  • DOES ANYONE BY ANY NON-SUBTLE CHANCE, FEEL LIKE A PEPSI?

  • @Havencheese Eh. No. Pepsi is for wimps.

    I want a Coors.

  • One of his best movies ever !!!

  • Stallone is super cool and tough in this movie.

  • i love the fact no one dislikes this

  • Stallone rules! This movie needs a 25th anniversary update on Blu Ray! Then a sequel! His car, the 1950 Mercury Monterey is one of the toughest, most badass cop cars... EVER! This scene is one of the best (next to the awesome car chase sequences). For a good laugh, watch Stallone eat his leftover pizza cutting it with Army Surplus combat shears. As over the top as this movie is, it ranks #3 on my personal list of favorite Stallone films next to Rocky IV (#1) and First Blood (#2).

  • Has a match in his mouth lol!

  • I dont shop here:D

  • I don't deal with Psycho's

    Frickin classic!!!

  • I want to know how in the hell Sly got into the freezer in the first place all the freezers were in an Isle

  • Why does he have sun glasses on inside a store?

  • Manhunt #1

  • lol, stallone pwns him in verbal and physical sparring

  • @devilxhlywood me and brother still joke about ths film till this day lol.

(In my Sly Voice)"Hey dirt bag. Your a lousy shot. I hate lousy shots. You wasted the kid, ur nothin. Not I have to waste you

  • 3:18 Drop It!

  • Why does Stallone bother running and hiding all over the supermarket if he was going to just burst in on the bad guy? And why talk to the bad guy at all? He should have just shot him when came through the door. Of course we wouldn't get to hear the awesome lines by Stallone but it just doesn't make sense.

This movie is a classic but there are lots of dumb stuff in this movie.

  • @whythehell99

so he could drink a free coors

  • Can they really drink beer in the movie?

  • LEELAND EISENBERG

  • i use to enjoy this movie now i only can take the supermarket opening. however its still better than the remake fair game.

  • it's the way of the new world! where's the TV cameras?

  • this reminds me of stone cold with brian bosworth market scene

  • Love this movie, I first saw it in the 80s on video as a kid.

  • Amazing movie! Stallone movies are kick ass. Love 80's action movies.

  • Dan Stark!!!

  • I dont shop here....what a hero

  • Nice ad for Coors.

  • this happens to me all the time at the supermarket

  • @versus79 what is it ??

  • This is how criminals should be dealt with. I say FUCK the American civil liberties union.

  • @tigerdon007 You're an idiot! ACLU protects everyone's civil liberties period!

  • Stupid man. -I'm a hero! I'm a hero of the new world, - sad crazy man. Best reply.

  • @PAX1357

you're the disease and I'm the cure

  • i wonder if that meat he fell dead on went 1/2 price

  • in a low lit place with shades on and the. this has always been Stallone's problem, BAD TASTE. While Schwarzenegger transcended his Hollywood hero image, with a range of different roles, Stallone continued to choose shitty scripts. The guy takes a half hour to swing his shotgun around allowing Stallone to go out, take a sign on for another shitty film, come back and steal a scene from "The Magnificent Seven," and throw the knife. What a turd. .

  • @dw3541 all of arnolds best movies imo are action. terminator flicks, true lies, predator, commando. didn't really care for his non action movies. and shades in the dark is classic 80s hah.

  • @dw3541 Stallone did not choose this script... He wrote it. At least I thought he did?

  • i' m a sucker for good conversation

  • This movie influenced me to put my gun in my crotch when I'm done shooting it

  • Go ahead, I don't shop here!!

  • cobra kicks ass - -- stallone used to be a fucking stud

  • best movie ever

  • Stallone's films are fucking funniest ever. The funniest is Death Race 2000. "Go ahead.. I don't shop here" Best negotiation scene ever.

  • the whole movie is in this 3 minutes :) "go ahead, i dont shop here!" the best

  • Stallone says "DROP IT!" then fires immediately w/o a chance for the guy to drop anything. I'm not saying its wrong, but its kind of funny.

He should of made more dark films like this.

  • i wonder how much COOLS beer paid to have there product in the sense like that 1.09 lol

  • Maybe the best unintentionally hilarious opening ever. From the frozen food doors left open to generate "fog", to the 16 different prod. placements in one shot, the mumbled one-liners said behind shades and a matchstick. Triumph.

"Whoever wrote this..." Stallone wrote it! This was what he wanted to turn Bev. Hills Cop into. He was in full narcissistic mode.

How'd they get the Pepsi "pour" to continue like that?

  • @RetroBoyWontDie The Pepsi is actually a rotating black chain. They used to have all most that exact sign in a seven-eleven here, many years ago.

  • best scene in the movie.

  • even remember seeing themovie for the first time...but shooting your own nuts off is a real danger wearing your gun like that

  • Disease !!

    your sucker!

  • ha i love it "youre a disease and im the cure"

  • many find this movie rediculous, wich i don't realy get. I always think of john woo movies when i see Cobra. The violence, the one liners, shoot scenes.

BTW some scenes freaked me out as a kid! the nightslasher is fucked up...

  • I think you might mean 'You're' and 'Disease'?

  • about 2:25 onwards, well the one liner there is just genius :DDDD whoever writes this stuff needs praising!!!! also have you noticed in the chase brian thompson says 'hes crazy!hes crazy!' omg wtf haha his character has no right to call anyone crazy!!! how can anyone not love this film it is artworkkkkkk <33333

  • Eh, i always like Coke anyways. Great action movie. Really awesome. Notice how cops in the 80's like Cobretti and Riggs don't wear holsters. Just tuck it in.

I guess now we know where all the money for all those bullets come from.

    Stallone always kicks ass!!!

  • "Can't Do that, I don't deal with physcos, I put em' away"

  • i would do christmas shoping wile i was there

  • Love the Pepsi product placement.....very discrete..LOL

  • This all starts off quite promisingly....but later in the film with literally 100's of shots that all miss it just becomes utter shite...sorry.

  • What a waste of a beer, i'd have finished it before throwing the can away. He should also pick up a toothbrush while he's in the store, he could have choked on that toothpick if he wasn't careful. Taking his sunglasses off would also be advisable, the store wasn't very well lit, he could have strained his eye's. Who's gonna buy that meat now its got bad guy guts all over it? Another senseless waste.

Overall i'd say that Cobra is the worst cop in the world and a suspension from duty is overdue.

  • i love how he lands on the fridge with the other "dead meat" lol

  • If anyone here is an airsofter, Western Arms makes a great replica of Cobra's custom Colt Gold cup National Match 9mm pistol. It looks just like the real thing, with the Cobra on the grips.

  • This movie is cool. Alot of people don't like it. But I am not one. Bridget Neilson is smokin.

  • @ohiopower She WAS smokin she burned out her looks partying way too hard liked the movie

  • Idosing music!

  • How come people dont like it?

  • @ohiopower why there's a people don't like it ?

  • I used to watch this on TNT on Saturday afternoons when I was little.

This move sums up the 80's completly

  • go ahead...I dont shop here

  • I dont like a lousy shot dirtbag!

  • BEST .... SCENE ... EVER !

  • "its ok. I dont shop here." lmao. Buying this was was 4 dollars spent well.

  • sly doesn't even give the poor bastard a chance to "drop it!"

  • The best part of this movie, aside from the horrendous plot and hideous acting and violence (which is ALWAYS a plus!) , is the "music video" portion right in the middle of the film! It's one of the most ridiculous moments ever. My friends and I used to rent this and watch it almost every other weekend, along with Commando, Rambo, etc. The 80s was a PARADISE of crazy action films. This movie doesn't come close to the others in terms of quality, but as a guilty pleasure, it hits the spot!

  • Let's cut some frozen pizza with scissors

  • Obviously, he never figured out the mysteries of the knife and fork! I shudder to imagine how "Cobra" would eat ice cream. He'd probably use a stapler or something!

  • I totally agree with ya man, for movies like this just make my day! For sometimes the more absurd/corny/ridiculous/& unintentionally funny a movie is the better!!! Actually, sometimes the cure is worse than the disease, & this movie just proves that! Though it's all good, this major "plus" as you wrote, for it's a "guilty pleasure" indeed (also, every cop should be like Cobretti, for despite all his fictitious qualities that motherfucker is still one bad-ass in the EXTREME!)! Cobretti #1!!!

  • hey dirtbag, you got a lousy shot! i don't like lousy shots!

  • Lousy shot?

that guy hit the can pretty instantly

  • First film I've seen with Stallone where the actual film is even worse than Stallone's acting.

  • What's a "Disese'" ?

  • It's: "Disease"

  • go ahead, i dont shop here.

    AWSOME

  • Hey Dirtbag,you're a lousy Shot,I don't like a lousy Shot!!!LOL

  • An absolute classic scene. "You wasted a kid for nuthin'. Now I think it's time to waste you." LMAO!

  • WELL I guess Stallone convinced me to add something else to my list of things I don't like...

Lousy shots. I don't like lousy shots.

    End.

  • Why dose he stab him with the knife then say drop it, then shoot the shit out og him like less then a second later haha, cool movie

  • @wwwNooBcom I think even Cobretti could tell when someone isn't going to cooperate. to tell you the truth, I can't say I blame him. Great action movie.

  • HAHA Who drinks Coors original

  • i do now.

i gotta get some aviators, an egg carton and cut up a pizza slice

  • Hey it was free!

  • i can say while this movie isnt the good film i thought it was in 1986,its 10times better than the remake fair game with billy balswin and cindy crawford.

  • I love how he just picks up a beer and drinks it in the middle of a hostage situation.

  • Note to self: Never direct the movies in which I have a starring role.

  • Hey it worked for eastwood

  • Coors Original.. What a badass

  • When is the sequel coming out and Demolition 2!?

  • This reminds me of Virtua Cop for some strange reason.

  • Cracked

  • Cracked

  • Cracked sent me

  • CRACKED

  • His gun was a 45 design . But was a custom 9mm version

  • i love the imagery and lighting in this segment of the film...

    dark simple and innevitable.

i think many of cinemas best and certainly most atmospheric films were produced during the 1980s...

they just had a look and feel to them thats all but gone now..

for the most part new films are like mp3 downloads, old films are like classic vinyls.

  • couldnt have said it better

  • i like stallone as cobra better than rambo or rocky. he kicked urban ass without breaking a sweat!

  • SS is one of the hottest men in the world...he's my fave in this movie (looks wise) lol...amazing...I love when he drinks the can of pop

  • Comment removed

  • hes drinking Coors beer, not pop

  • Pepsi, Coors, and 7up all thank you for this clip.....signed, Stallone

  • that was 9mm, right??

  • Colt .45 ACP

    A real pistol!

  • the way of the new world lol hahahaha

  • since I´m a fan of this movie I said "hey just relax amigo" almost everyday hehehehe. Cause of this scene. When I play a soccer macht, with friends, in the street with nervous people ..."hey just relax amigo" hehehe

  • Marion Cobretti?! LOL FAIL.

  • YES!

  • "Go ahead....I don't shop here."

  • man i wish they would still make this type of movies but than again no one could replace sly people can criticise him all they want but the fact is theres somethimg about him that just makes you wanna watch whatever he does

  • This was great at the theater, movies suck now...

  • I love 80's action movies for one reason. They're always set in a Quik-E-Mart or a convenience store of sorts :)

  • what? haha I love 80s action films. The dialogue is pure gold.

  • I TOTALLY agree with you !!!

  • I love this movie, and sure this is my favorite part

  • "Drop it!" *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Stallone didn't give that dirtbag a chance to drop his weapon, so why bother saying that ?

  • its only a film,its not real!

  • @luchino5891 I don't deal with psychos... I put 'em away.

  • You don't fuck with Sylvester Stallone!

  • xDDD

Assy McGee, was really inspired by this..

  • i m italian and this is my first time i hear this scene in english with stallone's voice!!! and it's better than my italian version..." i cant do that--why?--- not deals qith psyco..... im the cure you're diseaase!!!! " amazing

  • 'Your a disease' 'I'm the cure' Awesome!

  • that guy looks like matt dillon from the outsiders...

"i'll kill em' all! it's the way of the new world!"-AWESOME

  • nothin like slinging the pistol after blowing away a bad guy!!

  • Yep, very 80's and prob earlier...Still cool.

  • Go ahead I don't Shop Here F'N GREAT

  • "it's the way of the new world!"
