  • LONG LIVE THAILAND KINGDOM. LONG LIVE THE KING.!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice trooping of colour. More colorful than UK's

  • @patpatpatting : Colorful yes. But can you say that in less than 2 months, Grenadier Guard in 2010 turn around and troop the Colour in front of the Queen after 6 months tour in Afghanistan. Just pointing out the situation.

  • @gunmonkey1185 Why don't you accept in reality ? English people never want to lot they face. Open your eyes and look another world. Stop live in the dream world.!!!!!!!!!

  • ขอบคุณครับ

  • The coldstream grenadiers also come in green and blue in Thailand. I think the green color should be used in the Canadian regiment and the red remain with the British.

  • Whats the diffrence between the colors?

  • @znoop72 : See the answer given by "yank1776"

    :

    "Reg1: Bat1- RED - 1st. Infantry Reg, Bat2- WHITE - 1st. Infantry Reg.,Bat3- GREEN - 2nd. Infantry Reg.

    Reg2: Bat1- RED - Military Academy (army), Bat2- BLACK WHITE cap - bat from Naval Academy, Bat3- LIGHT BLUE - a bat. from Air Force Academy Reg3: Bat1- BLUE - a bat. from 11th Infantry Regiment, Bat2- YELLOW - artillery, Bat3- WHITE - Engineer Reg4: Bat1- PURPLE - 21th Infantry, Bat2- RED - Marine, Bat3- PINK - Air Force Inf."

  • @znoop72 Duty

  • @diahbomber oh my god we already have Chileans acting like nazis now we have asians acting like brits!?

  • Many thanks to all who answered my question on uniform. They are very proffessional

    All Thailand should be proud

  • Do the different color uniforms mean anything, regiment, branch of service etc.

  • @yank1776 I'm unable to answer your question. Maybe a Thai citizen will tell us the meaning of the colors of these uniforms.

  • @pacha75005

Each color represent the different branches of the royal armed forces. Red= army, black=navy, yellow=marines, green=engineer corp, blue air force, white= is king's guard

  • yes that is its. like the black one it is the the Naval Cadet Regiment,King's Guard.

  • @yank1776 Reg1: Bat1- RED - 1st. Infantry Reg, Bat2- WHITE - 1st. Infantry Reg.,Bat3- GREEN - 2nd. Infantry Reg.

Reg2: Bat1- RED - Military Academy (army), Bat2- BLACK w WHITE cap - bat from Naval Academy, Bat3- LIGHT BLUE - a bat. from Air Force Academy

    Reg3: Bat1- BLUE - a bat. from 11th Infantry Regiment, Bat2- YELLOW - artillery, Bat3- WHITE - Engineer

    Reg4: Bat1- PURPLE - 21th Infantry, Bat2- RED - Marine, Bat3- PINK - Air Force Inf.

    Finish with Calvary Bat.( horse)

  • @tipayam : Yes, you're right. A Thai colonel told me the same. Exept the ones whith black uniform and white cap who seem to be Marines (and not Navy)

Thanks for your very accurate comment.

  • @pacha75005 Thanks Richard, but I still insist that I am right. It make more sense to put all three of the Armed Forces Academy Cadets in the same regiment. But it's okay. BTW did you ask the col. how well the NEXTER CAESAR systems worked in the real live situation? I've heard that they worked very well.

  • @tipayam : This Thai colonel is an infantryman. However, he told me that the CAESAR system works very well (Thailand bought 6 Caesar, it means this gun is in use in only one battery). With this equipment, he says "Thai artillery is more mobile, more precise and at a lower cost."

  • @pacha75005 I am glad to hear that. They plans to have 18 units. In the mean time, they starts to mount the GHN 155-pieces on Volvo trucks. At least they will have more mobility and lower cost, without the integrated computer touch screen and hydraulic system. ( ://defense-studies.blogspot.com/search/label/THAILAND)

  • @yank1776 You can also view a clip of one of these regiments by search for "11th infantry Regiment" which upload by "cosovo999". This will be the ones with BLUE coats.

  • @yank1776 yes, sir. the uniforms depent on their forces. like army, navy, airforce and depent on the regiment :)

  • ภูมิใจสุดๆที่เกิดเป็นคนไทย

  • @mellokanear : you can be proud !

  • @pacha75005 You are not Thai and yet you uploaded the video of king royal guards.

    You deserve this

*Me doing Wai and bowing head to you*

    Thank you.

    Sawasdeekrub.

  • @Sinderking : I'm not Thai, but I love Thailand and I'm very respectful to the Thai Armed Forces.(I spent 3 years in Bangkok, from 1995 to 1998, as Defense Attaché of the French Embassy)

  • @pacha75005 I was suspecting that you were some sort of a diplomat because the video was taken from the left side of the HM reviewing pavillion. And only high ranking military personnels and diplomats were invited in there. (generals on the right and foreign diplomats on the left, behind the royalty)

  • 1000times better than malay royal guard that guarding british palace

  • this Parade is a parade of king guard ,was born in Thailand by King Rama V from influenced England .

Thailand never colonized in the colonial story.

Thailand is the best country inthe world. The land of smile and culture ,not the land of Prostitution so don t Slander

  • I think their uniform looks like the British but they march like the Germans!

  • @yuv06 - Thailand had German training in the early 1900's. They sent thier military cadets to Prussia for training, therefore the marching style. But after WW I, british had more of influenece in the sphere, so it reflects in the uniforms.

  • @princefox001 . Do you know a country, only one country, in which trere is no prostitution ? Prostitution is everywhere, in Thailand as well as in France, in Japan, in Brasil, in Sweden and even in the Arabic countries.

  • @pacha75005

    Vatican City.

  • @pacha75005

Also, Prostitution is non-existent in Saudi Arabia.

  • @Ioannesmartialis : You think so... Actually, prostitution is officialy forbidden but if you look carefully for a prostitute, you'll find her.

  • @princefox001 - I guess in the Japan, USA or in Europe there's no hookers? This is new to me ....... Bukkakae, after all, is a Thai word? LOL

  • @GottJukrapun I like your comment " BUKKAKAE" LOL.

I think princefox001 must be very angry and finding the way to fight back by cowardly posting something or hopelessly comment something bad about Thailand prostitue. hahahaha wait and see..... He is a good entertainer hahaha can't stop laughing..... He must have a short dick or erectile dysfunction problem or being looked down by Thai lady of his defect.. . . . so he ABSOLUTELY get mad about this and try to revenge.. . . hahaha

  • @princefox001 Japan = islands of dirty psychopathic pathetic small dickheads raping screaming virgins.

  • What are they influenced from? British?

  • @KatiushaVN4 I think so ; they have been probably influenced by the British (Trooping the Colours).

  • @pacha75005 yeah the modern Thai armed forces traditions are mostly modelled on the British. Llike most other Royals, a few of the Thai Royal family and social Elites where educated in places like Harrow and Sandhurst.

  • @pacha75005 Actually the Thai Army was heavily influenced by the Prussian Army. The Thais Royal Family had long time friendships with the Imperial Families f Russia and Germany. France had excellent relations with Thailand. The British were never trusted because they had imperial ambitions in Thailand as an extension of their power from Burma. However, the Thais practiced "Bamboo Diplomacy" and outwitted the British as indeed they did the Japanese and Americans. Well done Your Majesty!

  • @Mozzafarian During the reign of King Chulalongkorn (RAMA V), HM sent many princes (sons) to study in Europe,i.e. Crown Prince Wachirawut (later King RAMA VI) graduated from Sandhurst (UK), Prince of Chumpohn graduated from British Naval Academy, and the present King's father, Prince of Songkhla, graduated from both Prussian military and naval Academy, also have Harvard's Public Health degree and a Medical Doctor degree. The King was determined to transform Siam.

  • @SuperSamurai1990

Their uniforms are modelled after that of the British Foot Guards, the tall hats are a substitute for the bearskin cap.

  • @emptyangel : Actually, It is Imperial Germany circa 19th Century. Underneath is pith hat with very long plume.

  • Marches are National Emblem, Royal Guards March (March Raja Wanlop) and lastly the King Cotton march.

  • @emptyangel ::: Royal Guards march was written by the king who I understand had been a jazz saxaphonist.

  • It's so so so hot there!!!!

  • Thanks for posting the vid!

  • Thank you for posting, it has been awhile, 1997 .... wow

  • Siam is not an empire that it is today with a meek army. Whilst she might not be as strong as she used to be, she is a force to be reckon with. The Thai Armed Forces are deffnitely NOT a push over like many had thought.

  • @Charaht . I agree. Thai Armed Forces are serious and efficient.

  • @pacha75005 - thank you for posting the video!

  • @Charaht - that is the truth!!!!

  • @Charaht Thanks mate for putting in a good word for us!

  • @Charaht Thanks for putting in good words I highly appreciate that!

  • @Charaht with america as a friend, thailand shall always be a great country,

  • if it looks like a duck, walk like a duck, quack liuke a duck, it is probably a duck. So, in retrospective, if an army looks like an army, taking pride in thier uniform, marching smartly and maintain the descipline needed in marching, it is probably an Army to be reckonned with.

  • @KhonSiam : You're right !

  • @KhonSiam I think the marching stlye may be influence by the European countries! As most of the officers were trained in Europe!

  • @KhonSiam I think the marching still was influence by the Europeans as many officers were trained in Europe in the old days!

  • beautiful uniform has nothing. an enemy never boggle for this.
