he is good enough for f1 but hes not good enough for champion he had to drive by force india or something where he can do his race and sometimes something spectacular
get rid of massa, get fisi back! massa is just a lucky sh*t that doesnt deserve to be in ferrari and got in due to luck! geez he never could race. not before his 'accident' as they always use as a excuse and not now
@IceCoolG4mes He was damn close to a world championship if you remember... he was good once, but not anymore. He's got nothing left for a team, especially Ferrari... Alonso is whooping his ass, rofl.
@kokochan7 either way massa is still failing. with all these growing drivers like rosberg and kobayashi its a wonder how somebody like massa keeps his spot. i got nothing against massa, i got an issue of his space in f1.
There were a lot of close calls between 1998 and 2001 in F1 with driver crashes, until there were less drastic crashes like this and car safety kept improving.
Had Ralf Schumacher's horrific crash in the United States in 2004 happened a few years earlier, I don't think he would've lived :S
@CannonFilmsCompany Third driver. Might never get to sit in a F1 car again with the lack of testing and everything. I feel a bit sorry for him. He was so close to achieving a win with Force India and then he moved to Ferrari, which of course was a dream come true for him, but effectively might've ended his career.
i dont understand how people can laugh at luca 4 not doing gr8 at ferrari.like nortsoldier said.he had'nt driven a f1 car 4 10 yrs.the people who laugh at him cant even drive a fukin f1 car.most cant even drive so luca shud be laughing at them!
@jpmcfc Luca was Ferrari's test driver of course he had driven the car prior to going full time. I think the ban on testing was only effective this season.
tbh its like luca badoer...the guy had no testing and hadnt raced in 10 years so what did ppl do..they laughed at him...considering the ferrari team even said it isnt awell handling car how cud u blame luca for not doing well...fisco simply cudnt go from having the force india which is gd handling to a ferrari which is lets face it shite..it just proves how gd massa and raikonnen are if they can drive a trully awful car..
I don't think the Ferrari was that bad. It's just that it had KERS which vastly affected the handling and braking, and with Fisi coming from Force India and Badoer unable to test neither would have driven the car that had been developed to midseason. It was horrible how the media and the fans got on Badoer's back though. He was 1s off the Torro Rosso's at Valencia, in a car he'd never driven at a track he'd never driven.
agreed personally i think luca did an abesoutley brilliant job...what i loved was the fact newspapers n ppl said o god hes bad but the drivers the ppl who you should listen to all said hes doing superbly..i do believe that if luca was given the rae at italy he would of won it..because hes tested there since 1997 so he knows the track well and knows how to take every corner right he knows every bit of grip better then any1 so..i just hope he gets another chance so he can get something his name
@nortsoldier Looking back infact, I don't think Badoer was off the pace at all. If you look at the start of the season it took Massa/Kimi a few races to get to grips with the car... then Badoer... then Fisichella. I suspect that no matter who they put in that Ferrari it would have been the same story unless they gave them enough time to adapt.
@WhyGenFM3 hmm spose i cud agree...i just think its sad that after so long that is what badoer got...2 races under massive stress's such as the media laguhing at him and wanting to earn points for ferrari...the guy deserves so much more from F1 i rly hope he gets something in the future like another drive the guy deserves a point so so badly..
As nice a guy he is, and as much as he's given to F1 - you have to remember he wasn't in a race seat for so long because he's a driver, he's good at setup and producing data, he never was a great racer in terms of overtaking, knowing when to push ect. That said, the scenario of no testing and a dog of a car didn't do him any justice. It would be amazing to see him get 1 more chance though, and for him to show the media what he's really capable of.
Ferrari's engineers were amazed when Kimi started to qualify the car in the top 5 in the second half of the season. Then he won and they shat themselves.
Well i agree with your statement but i have to state that Ferrari wasnt really good season start? That might be another prove that the F60 was hard to adapt to. There's a lot of things to learn from that car, KERS and blah.. Yea, we all should give Luca a break.
No, but Fisi is in the top 5... Let's not forget guys like Adrea de Cesaris, Tarso Marquez.... They always got a part in the show by destroying their car on a regular base
I think senna`s was a bit slower. I was there that day and Saw it alive. It was spectacular but I think gravel slow him a little bit and was more dramatic than really hard. Fisichella really hit the tire barrier real hard..
