this would be the perfect opening for buffy. If this were a trailer (and if i wasn't a fan already), this totally would have sold me. Beautifully done.

Buffy had a lot of emotionally heavy moments. It was scattered through out most of the seasons. Where as season six was emotionally heavy, with the exception of a few episodes. (Tabula Rasa & Once More with Feeling although the end of the episodes were heavy.)
I know season 6 is known to be dark and depressed, and Buffy's relationship with Spike is seen as an "adult" one etc; but season 2 was waay heavier, darker, harder etc; coz she was much more in pain (angelus guys), while the whole problem of depressed season 6 Buffy is the big noting she feels.
(sorry, I just adore the season 2 Angelus arc so damn much. snif)

Wonderful! It makes it look a lot more like a show about a depressed young woman though. Which I guess, in season sixy places, Buffy is.
