Cmon folks...this video is not about national pride. It is about ALL the brave soldiers who gave their lives so we could live like we do today. Let us not tarnish what they accomplished by trying to say one country did more than another. Any soldier who gave his own life up so we could have a better life today deserves respect regardless of what his nationality was.
@SweetButSour6421 You are right but a soldier doesnt need to give up his life for repect! Just serving and being a resposible human and caring for others is what they get the salute for. Not because they died!
Thank you to all of the Allies. Whether you were Canadian, British, American, or Russian, your sacrifice will not be forgotten. You fought for the world I have today, and I will never forget that.
know the sad thing the usa at that time join because of hitler they because they were attack. and canada and british did a lot of the work get the german amry on the run then then attack. the u.s. join help end the and so on.
I don't want to come across as anal or anything but the USA was never going to join the war, the only reason they joined is because they intercepted a telegram the Zimmerman Telegram which was a message to the Mexican President telling him to attack the USA so they were for sure not going to join the war with Germany. Really USA had no big part in fighting against Germany other the Operation Overlord then Japan Attacked them and thats where they were for the last 2 years of the war.
Nic I really love this video, done a great job. Really emotional piece of music, a fitting tribute to our brothers in arms. Those, who have given their lives, for their country.
They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget.

If you knew your history, U.S. was a MAJOR supplier for the Allies before we entered the war, and yes the U.S. entered was because of Hitler/Japan.
We sent over 480,000 of our troops to death to help liberate those European countries.
