Literally I mean? Until HE does, you read the word, you ask, you seek and you should "not love the world or anything in it.." HOWEVER no one has ever been harmed by not drinking and drinking has done immense harm to mankind. Even small amounts can impair judgment and as amy2x says, we can have a good time without alcohol. And God calls us not to do things which can cause another to stumble which drinking can most certainly do.

Sin is the transgression of the law (1st John 3:4). Where there is no law there is no transgression (Romans 4:15).
