Amen! Life without Pele--what a tragic thought. It wouldn't have been the same without Professional Widow, or the remix, which I danced to about a million times in a million different states of consciousness...
....Pele happened because of Eric Rosse...not Trent Reznor. She and Eric were together for something like 7 years or so. He broke her heart and Pele happened.
While I'm sure Trent did influence some, I believe Rosse was the biggest reason behind Pele.

Yes--I'm sure he was a big influence, but she's said that this record is about finding her own fire vs. stealing it from other men.
While Eric was her long-term love, I think it's safe to say that her brief relationship with Trent influenced her, and therefore this album.
