  • SO CRAZY THOUGHT!

    gets me every time :)

its not my fave joker, but hes not too bad, i dont see why people hate on him :(

  • "hold the trolly" the only words in history to get batman not to punch you Oo

  • Clown Prince of Chaos? Lord help me, this Joker sucks!

  • @SamhainTheDark I COMPLETLEY agree! It's called CRIME! Not CHAOS! Corey Burton is the worst Joker ever!! Cesar Romeo, Jack Nicholson, Mark Hamill, Kevin Michael Richardson and Heath Ledger are good as Joker, but Burton sucks so f******************cking much!!!!!!

  • J: "Never can take a joke..."

    B: "But I can deliver a punch!"

    Hahaha always cracks me up

  • I'm not really a Joker fan but I'm glad he was finally brought into the show. As I heard some where they wanted to use more lesser known villains. Or other superhero villains instead of Batman's more known and popular ones.

  • 1:21 Joke makes sense.

  • heath ledger will always be my favorite joker of them all, but of all the cartoon jokers theyve made over the years, this one is my favorite. though i gotta say the brave and the bold really fucked up harley quinn.

  • Jokers tend to bounce around a scale ranging from hilarious to terrifying. This one is hilarious.

  • FALCON PUNCH

  • I will admit, that while mark hamill's voice is the best joker, I just love how the joker is many different shades of villany. In some forms of media he's a raving psychotic, in others, a prankster. I love this version because of how much he ply up the theatrics. I also liked under the red hood's version just because that version saw the irony in everything. Hamill's performance was still best because he had the sense of irony, was a prankster, and was a deadly foe, all in one performance.

  • Joker: HOLD THE TROLLEY *Waving little white flag* LMAO

    Love my puddin hahahaha XD

  • Crazy thought!

  • not the best joker but sure is better than the one in "the batman"

  • "Clown prince of chaos..." That's it... this Joker sucks hard shit... He's "The Clown prince of Crime..."

  • @Villaking1337 Copypaste of my reply to Sky.

Hey, dumbfuck, he calls himself the Clown Prince of Crime at the end of the episode so stfu. He modifies his title because he's pointing out how Owlman is a Lawful Evil villain who believes in order. What's the antithesis of order/lawfulness? Chaos. Thus he alters his alias in this instance to fit his argument that he's the best guy to help Batman take down his evil counterpart.

How did you not get that? Have you never heard of character alignment?

  • People do realize that this was the EXACT SAME DESIGN as the Joker in the old batman cartoon (the one before TAS). Granted nowadays he's portrayed as a psychopath who sees death and destruction as a joke, this one is more just causing more violent pranks just for the heck of it.

  • Okay, that hand trick was just downright funny.

  • Damn that version of Joker sucks HARD. Sounds like they got a random guy off the street to do a uninspired reading.

  • First of all, IT'S CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME, NOT CHAOS, secondly he looks like a fucking third grader attempting to draw the joker, thirdly that voice does not fit him at all.

  • @SkylerRayY2K Oi! Never insult the works of Dick Sprang!

  • @SuperWolsey dude, fuck right off.

  • @SkylerRayY2K Hey, dumbfuck, he calls himself the Clown Prince of Crime at the end of the episode so stfu. • Allright lest answer all the "Y DIDNT THEY PICK CONROY AND HAMIL WAAH WAAH!" because im sick of seeing it whenever someone uses a different voice for them: It could be a multitude of reasons! schedules colliding, salary to big, actors not wanting to get pigeonhold into just 1 role etc. Here it´s most likely because they don´t really fit. Their voices would invoke the dark, gritty vibe of the Dini-batman, while this strives to invoke the classic, campy 60´s batman show with a modern twist.

  • You know, people are quick to slam this series, but it is more faithful to the origins of Batman than the other show, The Batman.

I actually love this show as much as I love B:TAS, mainly because of the large variety of characters they've brought in. :)

  • Hehe, I like this Joker's hair. It's sexy. XD

  • "Clown prince of choas"

    i love that line :D

  • Is that Michael York doing the Joker voiceover? Lol.

  • not as good as mark hamill but in a way for the shows campyness it a good fit

  • Control, last time I checked in the comics, Owlman was against having anyone control anything and would even fund groups that opposed the Crime Syndicate that he was the unofficial leader of, but I guess this is based on him before that was added to his character, because by the time that was added, they also decided to not make him his universe Bruce Wayne, he is instead an older brother of Bruce that existed in that universe, hence why they have different voice actors in Crisis on Two Earths.

  • Mark Hamill

    Mark Hamill

That's all I hear. Yes he was good but this is a DIFFERENT Joker therefore his voice will sound DIFFERENT.

Plus this voice isn't even that bad

  • blah blah blah the voice sucks. blah blah blah Mark Hamill. blah blah blah. :T

But seriously, I really hate this series. I think it's a disgrace to Batman:TAS, but that's just me.

Oh and I don't think THAT voice is really awful. Just the dialong and the designs altogether make this show hard to take seriously. :T

  • "the nemesis of order, the clown prince of chaos" what about he agent of anarchy?!

  • lol he says Harlequin. I think Harley Quinn is the Harlequin... no ok she's no Harlequin of hate. She's a Harlequin in love ;)

  • 3 tricks up his sleeve ......... nice

  • Granted Mark hamill will, in the minds of most, be the definitive Joker voice, the man himself stated after his voicework on "Batman: Arkham Asylum" that he had no interest in doing the voice again. Thankfully they convinced him to reprise his role for "Arkham City". Whether he ever does the Joker again after that is up to him. I have to say, this Joker I like, but I liked John DiMaggio's voicework for Joker in the recent Red Hood animated movie more. But thats my opinion.

  • @SpyderWebbedHawk hmmmm now im going to have to watch that movie and get back to you on this comment lol because me personal i love what mark did to the joker and in my eyes i haven't seen any one do better but i haven't seen that movie yet i just never got around to it lol c(:

  • Hey, in my opinion its better that they didn't try to make it like Batman TAS, including the Joker. Its an older spin on it, a bit goofier. Its better than trying to be like TAS, its a different view on Batman, not trying to do TAS better. That being said, Mark Hamil is easily my favorite interpretation of the Joker.

  • If anyone shall talk about how the Joker from B-TAS is better, then don´t just mention the VA motivate more how his acting is is and what he says. And I mean acting by how he is animated. What I can tell this show choose to be a bit silly and simple but still show so much they can of Batman´s world as possible. In Sweden we got our good old Joker VA sins B-tas Per Sandborgh.

  • Like everyone else due to Batman: The Animated Series I get pretty prejudiced about new Batman series' (undoubtedly, TAS was the definitive Batman cartoon). However, despite not being as dark and edgy and more 'silver age', I'm really starting to like this, especially the Joker.

  • @KingTomJoyce

they got me. I was skeptical as well. but this series is actually clever, well written, voiced well, and I love the 50's background music during the episodes.

  • Holy crap get the original voice actors art not something you pulled out of ur ass look at ffin joker batman beyond and justice league does were the good old days not this crap

  • How does Joker fit all that gear in his coat?

  • What happened to the dialogue?

  • He sounds nothing like Mark Hamil or Jack Nicholas

  • i love this joker, not so much for the voice, but because he's funny

  • I LOVE the Joker!!!:)

  • is it just me or does the joker sound like tim curry?

  • @cubed1OCBZ Oh god no! Too much relevance to IT! AWAAAAAAAAAAARGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! *jumps off bridge*

  • Mark Hamill is the better voice of the Joker

  • 0:08 SHIT! I GOT A CUTE ONE!

  • Good, the Joker's funny again, not some angst ridden anorexic runny oil painting or the only comedy crutch for the "gritty grind & dark roast" lovers.

  • I love that line "SO CRAZY THOUGHT!"

  • Batman vs. Nega-Batman now that's something you wouldn't see in the 60s show

  • I have to say, I don't mind this Joker. He embraces the "good joker" personality. The one that pulls stupid pranks just for the fun of playing with Batman. I've done a fair amount of study on the Joker, and I believe he has multiple personality disorder. Good Joker, this guy, throws pies, his people with rubber chickens with brick in them, and cracks really bad jokes. Bad joker by comparison is a sociopath that kills and hurts for fun. Neither one is more right or wrong than the other.

  • @moukidelmar Actually, there is a sort of explanation for the Joker's condition in the "Arkham asylum" graphic novel.

"We're beginning to think it might be a neurological disorder, similar to tourettes syndrome. He seems to have no control over the sensory information he's recieving from the outside world. He can only cope with the barrage of input by going with the flow. He has no real personality. Some days he is a miscevous clown, others a psychopathic killer. He creates himself each day."

  • All of you mindless fanboys, quiet down. If Hamill always did Joker, it would get very boring very quickly. Bennett does an outstanding job here that perfectly matches the Silver Age-esque Joker's appearance. Try actually watching the damn show before complaining about how it's not dark or edgy enough. If everything stayed the same, things would get boring awful quickly.

  • @SIFAssassin

Well his voice hasn't got boring in almost 20 years but I understand your point. He can't voice the joker for ever.

  • not a fan at all.. but this is a take on the 60's camp version.. ooo well.. he reminds me of a roaring 20's gangster with that voice!! soooo annoying.. his laugh is horrible.. and whats up with the animation.. he keeps the same face throughout!! mark hamill and john dimaggio FTW!

  • @purplepurp07 it explains his craziness

  • I thought Joker's the clown prince of crime

  • ya like the 60 one as you can see batmans ears are small just like the first batman look like

  • Imposter? They must be talking about Nite Owl...

  • I think everyone who plays the Joker has done an excellent job from live action to voices. But not everyone can be Batman... I have to get used to Warp Darkmatter doing this one's voice...

  • @AngelC28 Me it was Hozz Delgado

  • @marnerbroman Yeah he played both. Darkmatter was a villain he played on the buzz lightyear tv show.

  • worst voice eva

  • it's supposed to be "clown prince of crime" :(

  • @ladygagaluvr159 He calls himself that as well.

  • my god, is everyone who commented here retarded?

can they not tell this is based on the golden age joker, and that B:TAS finished years ago and now they make different versions, and that different does not always 'suck'.

    jesus, some people...

  • @TheHammerOfJustice1 Thank you! Finally someone who recognizes Joker as the elegant, classy intelligent mastermind he is!

  • This animation is like the old Dick Sprang art from the 1950s.

  • i dont like this version of joker........... he to smiley its creepy

  • "Agent of chaos" (Dark Night Joker)

  • why oh why do they constantly have to change the character designs... why not stick with the batman TAS joker voiced by Hamill that pretty much everyone loves?

  • @biggleyboo Things change, buddy. Nature is change as remi from ratatouille said. I know that and I'm 13.

  • omg w do to joker T.T im glad they didn't use mark tha would be an insult I know people might like this but it makes me cry it's terrible

  • This is the worst batman and the worst joker...

  • @gabytorpedo it is just the old style, it looks a bit strange when you don't know batman from the beginning...it has somthing classy and shows the kids from today how the catoons look like in the old days. i miss mark hamill's voce

  • @Felidae16 Get the batman tas collection.

  • the joker in this looks gay/retarded

  • This look of The Joker happens to be the classic design from the Golden Age Era by Dick Sprang. It fits because Batman's look is also from the Golden Age.

  • @jokeris1 Silver however this golden age look was in this episode

  • Ouch....Now THAT´s a punch!

  • Why didn't they get Mark Hamill to do the Joker's voice? He was good at it.

  • Mark tries not to do the Joker voice too much anymore as it's really starting to strain and hurt his voice as he gets older.

  • cause this is a different Joker

  • True, but this is a 50's Joker.

  • @littlereyrey

Mark Hamill said that he would retire doing the Joker's voice after Arkham Asylum 2. Plus he did the Spectre's voice in this show.

  • @littlereyrey Because he needed to sound like the 60s Joker, Mark Hamill is overqualified to do that. This is Batman - The brave and the bold, totally different kind of show.

  • @littlereyrey Correction, The Best At It. This Is A Campy 60's Style Show, So Give They Him A More 60's Style Instead Of The Commonplace Modern Crazy Psychotic Style.

  • @littlereyrey that is mark hamill he does every joker voice

  • @littlereyrey he's retired it buddy

  • @vampedkitty only when he has done batman arkam city

  • @littlereyrey He was probably doing the Joker for the Arkham Asylum game when this cartoon was in the works.

  • @littlereyrey dude he is the joker

  • @littlereyrey Mark is retired as the Joker. He only came back for Arkham Asylum/City because the original writers/Voices of the 90's batman show were working on it. (so he said it was like a reunion). He said he wont be doing any more after the games either.

  • @littlereyrey theres been so many voices of the joker and batman

  • who is this guy because there is NO WAY IN HELL that's joker

  • This Joker sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what the fuck this is bullshit BTAS way way better. you know its crappy when mark hamil no longer doing the voice of joker

  • I actually like him, and his look, and this is coming from a huge fan of Batman TAS.

You know, after all, it is fateful to the character (not like the martial arts Joker from The Batman)

  • @SaulFernandezPrieto Actually, Joker does know some Martial Arts, he is the most unpredictable villain in the DC Universe,

  • @SaulFernandezPrieto I know, what was that? I'm so glad that's over. The 50's version is so much more elegant.

  • @SaulFernandezPrieto they should a batman series where the villains die, just like in the original movies from batman 1 up to batman and robin. And the series end when ALL villains are pretty much dead, and there are none left. Then onto the Batman, Superman Justice League, Marvel, whatever, crossovers. It would be refreshing to see a more realistic version of criminals paying for their crimes through the electric chair, or anything else

  • @SaulFernandezPrieto yeah i agree the look is great but i HATE!!! his voice its soooo off

  • "clown prince of chaos" because he' the opposite of order (batman) and the fight that CRIME has been low for him I understand the title

  • That is the worst joker ive ever scene.

  • I personally like the.. charisma.. of this Joker. His face? Fyeh.. i wouldn't even give it a thumbs up.

  • It was okay till the Joker said he was the clown prince of "chaos". NO. It stops there. The Joker is the CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME!!!

  • @Mushi6618

He uses both titles. Joker has called himself the clown prince of chaos on multiple occasions before, as well as (and more frequently) clown prince of crime.

He gives both titles in this episode anyway. Watch the end of this episode...he does, in fact, call himself the clown prince of crime.

  • rock'n'roll

  • WTF did they do to the Joker?

  • Made him like he was about 40 years ago.

  • Oh I see. The old versions are more child friendly then the new ones.

  • The Joker looks REALLY bad on this one, no wonder I stopped watching this show after the first episode...

  • Well at least it's retro-Joker and not Monkey Joker from The Batman...

  • i like the background music from this

  • As I said in another video, the Joker sort of sounds British, dont you think?

  • a little bit

  • I wish this Joker was voiced by the Arkham Asylum version.

  • This Joker is also the same guy who voiced CandleJack

  • I think I got some shit on my screen, oh wait . . .

  • Go back to /co/.

  • Whatever /co/ is. I'll assume it's some chan thing, in which case I can assure you I have never been there.

Besides, I don't see what was wrong with my comment. This cartoon is a fucking insult to Batman. The Joker doesn't even get his NAME right. He's the Clown Prince of Crime, not Chaos. Christy.

  • It's supposed to be a throwback to the campy 60s comics and series, actually.

  • And who'd want to go back to those days? The whole thing was god-awful... Batman's matured so much since then, and I really don't see why they want to drag it back down to when it was a joke.

  • It's a homage to Ledger because this episode was made around the time of his death. And this is probably the closest to the comics a Batman show has ever gotten, all be it golden age comics, but still

  • The whole art style of the show reminds me of the later 40's and 50's Batman, when they were moving away from the brooding, gun toting (yes, he carried a gun sometimes) avenger of the night from his first stories before Robin. Its okay for me though. We can always go back to the animated series from the 90's for the dark Batman.

  • Yeah that's what I think too

  • wheres the full episode?

  • I think after Heath Ledger and with all of the hate that came from "the Batman", they didn't have much of a choice but to go retro with Joker. Because when all else fails, if he looks like an idiot, you can say it's canon.

  • why does the joker sound like such a twat?

  • Joker sort of sounds British.

  • Oooh, this is lovely!

  • I actually like this Joker actually. He voice is kindof goofy. And I like how the used the 50's design. He's my third favorite.

    1. Hamill's verison

    2. Heathe's

    3. Jeff"S

(I haven't seen Jack's verison. I wasn't even born when it came out.)

  • See Nicolson's version! Please!

  • Well, in terms of being the most original from the OLD comics, they nailed him pretty well. And his voice....well, it's not bad. It's more of the tone of a gentleman crossed with some slight madness. It's not bad, but it's not as memoriable as Mark Hamill's. His laugh was ok.

  • so CRAZY THOUGHT!

  • It's like the animated joker mixed with Heaths version

  • the clown prince of CHAOS ? interesting but i hate jokers voice

  • Comment removed

  • I think joker looks great but I don't like the voice.

  • Jiminy Christmas!

  • this joker is awesome!

  • I agree, they could've made his face better at least. It's not that good.

  • They meant to make him look like the 1950's Joker

  • Yeah I know but they messed up his bottom chin and his face is like a balloon.

  • I think he works perfect.

  • Joker
