But anyway... is there enough clearance for a iphone to fit in that is in a case? I have a "speck - candy case" and so does my father - he's thinking about getting one of these but not if he has to take the phone out of the shell to put it in the stand.

Just got this for my iPod Touch, love it, and if you have a silicon sleeve on, just, remove the rubber corners, and it fits!

This is a good video but the reason that the cord whole is small is because if unplug the charger normally it will slide off the desk but with that small whole it prevents it from sliding out of the whole and off the desk.

i cant believe you actually said that. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POUNDS AND DOLLARS SMART ONE. They are not the same value! ANYWAY question for mitch, do you have some type of plastic coding on your iphone? I noticed something on their from this and one of your other videos and it looks like you have the invisible shield or something on it. Great video though. thanks for the review!

Great review/Pointless stand

Coming from both an engineering background it seems a hell of a lot of money, I was in a store when a Salesman got one out the box, customer had asked what it was and apart from almost keeling over at the cost,couldn't see a use for it, he seemed embaressed & put it away faster than got it out!

o.k maybe for App reviews, but most apps require moving & this becomes pointless, if came with attachment so could use in car.?

I did it once, but i find as soon as you jailbreak it, the firmware doesn't seem as fast and nippy. Plus i gain no real benefit out of it anymore.
