i live in Sherman Illinois....its a few miles away from Springfield.....all i ever find is snakes and turtles, i have never found a lizard or salamander of any kind.......do have any advice?

Im no herpetologist, but am fascinated by reptiles/amphibians. Really enjoy videos you make. I used to live in Quincy IL, never realized how many species of reptiles IL has. I live in Colorado now, and other than garter/bull/rattlesnakes/racer­s, pretty boring variety. Look forward to more videos

Nah that is a location I have never been to before. The storms are rough on the Southern IL bluffs. It looks pretty dramatic sometimes.
