You lengthen the body out and make the front and back the size that you want then shrink the middle down as small as you can and it gives it the two section look. Or three sections if you are making an insect creature.
The program I used was the spore creature creator if thats what you meant.
And Mexican red knee tarantula's tend to look more orange than red anyway.
When I made the legs I just got the first two perfect on the front coming from underneath the body of the spider and then just copied it for the other legs.

Lol fool, I used to own a Redknee they are called Red knees but actually they have orange stripes on the knee and segments.
The closest I got to seeing mine 'red' was just after a moult, shame I paid £100 for it and it turned out to be a male...
Anyway nice spider I have a realistic one on my page too, as well as a realistic T.Rex.
